Extremely violent and belligerent staff. Not sure how you employ such savages in such a highly popular spot….
Proceed with caution.
My friends and I had a great time the other night. Our bartender, Alexis, was so sweet and nice. She gave us great service throughout the night even though it was packed and busy. The drinks were great too!

Came highly recommended by some shiny folks and exceeded expectations. The place, space, history and vibe is awesome - But this is an easy going bar, rather than a styled out or pretentious tourist spot.
The cocktails were bang on - Paloma perfectly balanced, Espresso Martini as fluffy and rich as they come - But the real energy comes from the bartenders and the guests.
We popped in tired from walking and hungry, and ended up filled with energy, exceptional drinks, having found a LA home from home, and headed on to a reservation Diamond the legendary bartender sorted out for us at nearby (also amazing) restaurant Si! Mon.
(Of course we went back afterwards)
Can't wait to go back and check out the music!

This is a discriminatory establishment against lgbt people and should not be licensed in Venice, Ca. Staff are hostile to lgbt customers, requiring jackets while other patrons are in tank tops. There can't be one rule for lgbt guests and another for heterosexual guests-this isn't a few decades ago, though one never knows these days, and this place contributes to that. Shame on them and hope they close soon.

Not LGBT friendly!! Bouncer told me I couldn’t take off my jacket to wear my future milf tank (everyone else was wearing either a bra or tank top … it’s a club!!) . Was looking pretty gay that night (it was disco night! Everyone was dancing!) Didn’t know straight clubs in Venice turned into an Appalachian sunday school when it comes to letting gay people in but the same exact thing happened to another queer person I know. I’m sure it would be a great spot in a red state but this is Venice CA!!

I GOT PICKPOCKETED HERE. It used to be a fun place with a great vibe. I went back recently and the vibe was just off. Not many people dancing and all of a sudden I started getting bumped into...next thing I know, I checked my pocket and my phone was gone. Sketchy spot.

Great bar - I like the top floor a bit better.
Not sure who the DJ downstairs was tonight, but the vibes were not it. Left at 12:30.
Great bar with friendly servers
It's a more upscale establishment for the Venice area. My mates balked but I convinced them to pay the cover. The jazz band was pretty epic.
