This was the first time I have been to Owa and I definitely will return. Had the lunch special which consisted of a choice of dishes from appetizers, nigiri/sashimi and maki.

Food is nothing to rave about honestly, service is subpar (quickly served about 4 dishes within the first 5 minutes and then a 40 minute delay until the last two dishes were served). Pricing on the menu needs to be readjusted because the food and experience does not correlate.

While waiting outside for our table, we were greeted by the charming owner who offered us Prosecco to sip. This was just the beginning of a magical and ridiculously fun and luxurious evening at Owa. The service was perfect, the food was excellent, fresh and inventive. We never wanted to leave and we cannot wait to have the chance to come back. Fabulous cocktails also!

We had the best table by the fireplace! The food is always amazing. It’s a bit pricey. The ambiance is spirited, and a little bit too loud - but that adds to the fun vibe.

Dine LA week, my colleague and I met here to see how the place is as well as discuss business. I understand that one usually cannot switch items for dineLA menu, but everything was spicy without non-spicy choices (strike one). Great sake menu! The service was absent for most of the meal, having to beg for more water or getting up to the ice bucket to pour more sake myself rather than the server (strike two). The Chef's attitude about adjusting the ‘heat' down from 5 out 10 to something palatable, strike three. Cute bar, but I wouldn't eat her again...plate of six-piece salmon sashimi = $42! Hail NO!

Thoroughly enjoyed my solo lunch in the patio at Ōwa. I enjoyed the Dine LA menu — matcha tiramisu was the headline bite for sure. The akami tuna crudo & Kinney roll were pretty good. Nothing too crazy. My server Lilli was a delight! I'll be back

Utterly lovely place! Had coffee in the morning there and it was so nice I brought my wife back for a date that night! Our waitress was litterly a beam of sunshine and we had the best night. She was a screenwriter too and we had a great chat. Thank you guys I’ll be back
Sat at the bar for an afternoon wine and bites. The service was fantastic. Bartender was hospitable, tentative, quick and just lovely all around. Welcomed everyone that entered immediately. A full bar and no one waited on a thing. Great job Forrest!!! A+

Such a lovely space! Lively without ever being too noisy. We were taken care off so well by the wait staff and the food was delicious. Amazing selection of drinks - including a ton of non alcoholic options. Highly recommend for date night or to gather with friends.......highly recommend.

I was there with a friend and early. We were there in the middle of the week so luckily it wasn't too loud or busy. Most of the food came in a reasonable time, and we were more than satisfied with our selections. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
