Wonderful staff and service and great food. Will definitely be back. Table wasn't great esp given a special occasion (noted on reservation) and table was in back close to service area, but otherwise a lovely evening. Loved the live music too...nice touch even if it kicked the noise level up to 11. Still love live music —nothing better. Well done, Owa!

Great food and service. However restaurant is quite dark and loud (room next to bar) which makes ordering and talking to the others at your table challenging when seated in that area

Great date night vibe. Loved the omakase and the creative Japanese/Mexican cocktails. Would recommend!

Great place for dinner after work or a place to hang with friends. Friendly and competent staff make you feel welcomed and well served. GiGi and Kendal are the best! 😁

It really irks me when they change your credit card to make a reservation is charged to your credit card and when you get there, you have to wait almost a half an hour to get your table. The restaurant was overly crowded and the noise level was so loud you couldn't even have a conversation without yelling. The food was fine but dinner for two with 2 marginal drinks was over $300. Not a good value at all.

We walked in for our reservation that was booked on Opentable and the flippantly rude woman behind the bar said, “ I hope you're not looking for food”. When we explained that we had booked the rez on Opentable she disn't alologize but just said, “well that's Opentable's fault”. Would hae been nice to have received a call from the restaurant when we made rhe rez that they were actually not serving food anymore at 9 pm. We went Gjelina instead and had a great meal in a full and lively restaurant

Great dining experience. Awesome vibe, at times a bit loud to keep a conversation flowing while dining. Food was very good

While the food was good, it was by no means stellar, especially considering how long each portion took to prepare. Furthermore, the waiter we had gave us an appalling attitude; as if he were some D-lister just named to the lineup of Dancing With The Stars, Season 34.
I ordered the Toro Tataki (which took over 40 minutes - and this is for an appetizer!), and the Teriyaki Salmon. Good, but by no means worth the $32 and $42 price tags, respectively. The salmon cut was a whopping four ounces, so you're paying about ten bucks an ounce, unless you count the four asparagus spears they generously serve as a side.
Oh, and getting your appetizer 30 seconds before your main course is always a dream come true when you're overpaying for food that was slightly above average.
Since I was there with a TimeLeft group, the service charge was included, almost guaranteeing subpar service. Candidly, had it not been included, I wouldn't have left more than 15% for a server with the bedside manner of a wild boar. All this on top of a cacophonous atmosphere where you can barely hear the person next to you speaking.
There are a plethora of better options in Venice alone. Save yourself the drive through the clutter of Abbot Kinney. Heck, even DoorDashing an order from your favorite sushi restaurant is an infinitely better option.

My boyfriend and I love coming to this restaurant for date nights. The service is always great and the food is top notch. Try the blood orange gin drink, it's delicious.

Owa is the best place for a Friday night out. After an amazing dinner with craft drinks, we migrated to the bar when the DJ showed up and our night continued. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for dinner and going out vibes.

This place is outrageously expensive !!! 750$ bill for 2 adults, 1 grandma and 3 kids aged 13, 12 & 4. Ordered a total of just two cocktails.

Had such a high expectation on the food here. It was okay. But I do want to mention the atmosphere and service were good.

They overcharged my boyfriend by over $100. Really disappointing as we previously had a 10/10 experience here.
