Went back to back days because of the food was so good. The service was impeccable as well as the drinks. The lovely hostess was able to seat me despite it being super packed and I did not have a reservation. Definitely a revisit when in LA!

One of my favorite sushi spots in town. The food is consistently amazing across the board... some of my favorites: the Soul Roll, Kinney Roll, hamachi hara, sake toro, kampachi, ora king salmon, all three crudo appetizers & the miso cod. All the fish is cut fresh to order. Great signature cocktails, the service is attentive, and the bar is a vibe on the weekend. Highly recommend!

The service was so genuine, which is refreshing (shoutout to Taylor for being so cool), and the food is spectacular (definitely recommend the spicy garlic edamame and the soul roll). We came on a Tuesday, so we were able to catch some live Cuban Jazz at the bar, and they have really good cocktails (Spicy Ōwa is a MUST have). Love this place definitely will become a regular here!)
I am convinced that Ōwa is one of the most beautiful, intimate, delicious, and fun restaurants in LA. The creativity and beauty in quality, and variety of options shows in every dish, served in gorgeous and thoughtful presentations. They offer great gluten free options along with delicious vegan options as well.I love the different dining spaces, especially the chefs bar in the back. I have had a few wonderful experiences there. The open patio in the middle of the restaurant is also quite lovely, although I usually choose a cozy spot at the lively bar which is wonderful for people watching.The staff is always attentive, stylish, and have extraordinary knowledge and hospitality. Suitable for any occasion, especially a sexy date night or fun-filled night with your friends. They have a great Happy Hour which is a steal and are also open for lunch on the weekends.The food. Saving the best for last here. For apps, I love their Spicy Garlic Edamame, Kinoko Miso Soup (I dream of this soup), Kampachi Crudo, and Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice is addicting. For Nigiri & Sashimi the Hamachi Hara is a must. Other faves include Sake Toro, Hotate, and Ora King Salmon. The Kinney and Tokyo Time Maki are chefs kiss. The quality is always fresh, and the dishes are consistent. Quite the rare find.In conclusion, Ōwa is a unique, beautiful restaurant that pays attention to every detail with a vivacious vibe.
