Sushi was great. Place can be a bit loud though so not too intimate. But overall great service!

While strolling down the street, my partner and I stumbled upon a picturesque green oasis, adorned with lush trees and verdant bushes. The exquisite design captivated us, prompting a spontaneous decision to pause and indulge in a delightful lunch. Every dish we savored was a culinary delight, complemented by a cozy and enchanting atmosphere that enhanced our dining experience.

In A Nutshell:-Wabi on Rose is a posh style sushi restaurant w/ lovely decor & food.-I like the way the decorated their outdoor seating arrangement w/ pops of pink mixed in w/ the natural plants.-Their 17 piece sashimi sampler is a good deal $49, you get a nice variety of morsels, enough to share between two lovers.-The miso soup is a nice starter to order.-I think one of the popular items is the crispy rice tuna roll, it's fun to eat the crispy rice w/ the tuna on top.-I wasn't too fond of the bbq sauce on top of the hamachi collar though, so I would probably avoid that.Overall, it's a nice place to go on a date especially in the Venice area.

First off let me say the crispy rice with spicy tuna is dare I say, better than Nobu. I'm serious. Their spicy edamame? I mean, I could eat 2 orders for lunch. The cocktails are beyond delicious and the bartenders are as amazing as the cocktails are delicious. The vibe is a cool lounge-y indoor/outdoor chill scene. I highly recommend!

Definitely a hypey dinner spot. But everything was good, had a fun time. A bit awk when the waitress seats you and says you have 90 minutes starting now…Enjoyed the espresso martini and fried rice :)

Sushi was banging. Drinks were good, though my double seemed a tad weak. Incredible atmosphere… major LA vibes. Went for work so paid less attention to price than I normally would, but seemed about right for this area. Would go again!

The food was great and I loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Very modern and elegant design. We got the chili garlic edamame, which had a delicious flavor, salmon and tuna sashimi, which tasted fresh, and the Rick James roll, which was exactly what I wanted with a little kick of spiciness. Our server was tentative, but the only slightly bothersome moment was with the hostess when arriving at the restaurant. I arrived on time for my reservation while my boyfriend was parking and I checked in but the hostess wouldn't let me get seated at our table until my boyfriend arrived even though I wanted to be seated right away. I was assuming the restaurant had a rule for everyone in the party having to be there before being seated but I saw several parties that checked in after me get seated with half or less of their party. I even saw one table that was seated for at least 20 minutes before the rest of their party arrived (thankfully my boyfriend came in only about 5 minutes after I did but we were hoping I was to get settled at our table so I wouldn't be standing around the narrow entrance). Still giving my review 5 stars though due to the food and service after being seated that is worth coming back for.

Wabi on Rose, perched on rose avenue in the heart of Venice, is a pleasing sight with trendy interior. It is breath-stopping, actually. I fell in love with this beautiful space somewhere between arriving and departing. Just look at the ingredients of the restaurant: food, drinks, and vibes. Friendly vibes and besides sushi is good on any day ending in "y". Am I right or am I right? They have a plethora of vegan options and half the starters are vegan. I ordered the avocado and cucumber rolls, which were delicious. I could not wait to make it disappear. I was dorking out on the pink booths; also how the to-go boxes are pink with gold foil and the bags were pink too. Next time I have my eyes on the seaweed salad, bao buns, and miso eggplant. Perhaps even the vegan crispy rice and the plant base Shawty roll. Bathrooms were clean and tidy. Great food and service; they offer outdoor seating as well. If you were looking for a sign....this is your sign to visit Wabi on Rose. Stay for the food or the ambiance. They really go the extra mile and another for good measure. Until we meet again. #GemDropping "Change your thinking, change your life."

Great sushi place. Dishes & rolls are a mix old faves and contemporary fusion. Staff is friendly and attentive. I will definitely be coming back.Parking: Parking really depends on what time you come. There was plenty of street parking when we arrived in the early afternoon.

Food was ok and experience could have been different, but during lunch I witnessed a woman of color treated very differently than the caucasian guest. She treated the white woman with eagerness and service, went over the menu, was kind, etc...all things you would expect at a restaurant in a service oriented role. The woman of color was not told about the lunch special, did not accurately describe the menu and answer their questions and was generally rude in comparison to the other guest. Would not recommend spending your money at a business that explicitly discriminates the public in 2024...please train your staff to not disrespect members of the community.

Had dinner with my son at 8 pm on a Wednesday eve. Place is beautifully decorated and even though wind was cold our outdoor booth was cozy and shielded. Very comfortable. Service was friendly and prompt. We went with a couple of the recommended specialty rolls and we were glad we did. They were terrific. Fun atmosphere too. Great night!!

Wabi on Rose - always delicious. Cocktails also were great. Ambiance is excellent. We sat outside with heat lamps and it was perfect. The wait staff were attentive and helpful and nice and they did not upsell us which sadly happens too often when we eat out. Even though the website clearly says that you get the table for a specific period of time - we were not rushed. It was a lovely evening with friends and the food was delicious!!

We arrived for a reservation around 8:15. We waited until about 8:30 for our table. The biggest con for me about this restaurant was that the music is really really loud even on their patio and gives club vibes. We ordered the skirt steak skewers , crispy rice , wagyu dumplings , garlic edamame and the criss cross lemon sauce roll . All of those were delicious except the wagyu dumplings. We found that they didn't have much flavor.
