We stayed another day in Ventura. We decided to try out Aloha Steak in Ventura on a Wednesday evening, right by the beach near the pier, this place was lively! Even midweek, it was packed, but we got a table quickly and checked out their happy hour menu, which was seriously awesome. We got a bit carried away with the ordering—the clam chowder was a total standout, super creamy and bursting with flavor. The chicken satay was alright but a little dry. The fish and chips were solid, with flaky fish and perfectly crispy fries. And the shrimp cocktail? Those shrimps were huge and super fresh.

Service was a bit slow, likely because of a big party in the restaurant keeping the staff busy. Still, the food quality was top-notch, and the ocean view from our table was fantastic—such a great Ventura beach vibe. Plus, free parking with validation was a nice perk. If you’re after a vibrant spot for a meal by the water, Aloha Steak’s a solid choice for a weeknight or any night!

We came to Aloha Steakhouse on a Sunday evening around 5 PM. Even though it was pretty busy, we were seated right away. Our waiter was kind, attentive, and made us feel very welcome.

We had a booth which was perfect for our small kids. They even gave them crayons and coloring books to keep them entertained. The atmosphere was really nice and upscale but still family friendly which we really appreciated. We even had a view of the ocean from our booth and the noise level was just right, not too loud.

The food was outstanding. We had the ribeye cooked rare and it was absolutely perfect. The steak came with steamed vegetables that were fresh and flavorful. Our kids had cheeseburgers and fries and we also tried the craft burger with fries. The fries were crispy and delicious across the board.

Multiple staff members checked on us throughout the meal but it never felt overwhelming. Sometimes restaurants overdo it but this was just outstanding service from start to finish.

Overall it was a great experience with amazing food, excellent service, and a comfortable environment for families. We will definitely be back.

This is an absolute 5 star restaurant, it's consistently amazing and not stupidly priced. The waitress was friendly and attentive, the food was cooked perfectly and even though there was a slight error with my guests dish, she ordered prime rib with no aju, they brought it with, she was offered a whole new plate. I haven't been here in about ten years, and it's still the standout best food in town and it's right off the pier. It doesn't get better.

Me and my spouse came here to celebrate our anniversary for future reference it’s better to make a reservation cause this place gets packed even on a week day. The food here was really good we tried the artichoke dip with the jalapeño toast and was so good I really need to know how they make that toast also tried the teriyaki chicken which was also really good but extremely overpriced! paid $30 for a piece of chicken and a slice of grilled pineapple not mention that it only comes with one side for that price we should I least get two! Overall I did enjoy the service from our waitress.

Seared Ahi Tuna and the Black and blue cheese crustini starters are favorites as is the garden salad with dried cranberries. Ribeye done perfectly. Can be somewhat expensive, but always good!

Service was pretty bad. Very slow. Unaware of my Anniversary. Left a note when making reservations. No mention of it or even asked if we wanted dessert. Food was great!

We continue to go to this restaurant due to delicious food and service. We had the seafood appetizer that was delectable and proceeded to have salmon and clam chowder in a sourdough bowl for our entrees. For desert, we had the lava cake that was decadent. Will continue to return.

We had a wonderful dinner at Aloha Steak House, all the staff were very helpful. The food was great and our waiter, Evan, took our dinner to the next level with his suggestions and sense of humor.

Ordered Teriyaki Filet Mignon kabob without pineapple. When took order home it was Teriyaki Chicken with peppers. No way was it even close to filet mignon not red but white chicken like breast. Also no salad. Remind me back home my state with prime rib will bring out cheap piece rib eye. Guess will not be eating there anymore for steaks. My family come in several time a week happy hour

Great place. Beautiful view. Service ?????? our waiter Evan is simply handsome. Very cheerful. We ordered New York steak and ribeye (medium well done) and it was very tasty. It’s better to take vegetables as a side dish. We took the puree and it didn't go well.

Walking the Promenade just stopped in to have a bite. Food we had was great. It was late afternoon and the place was pretty quiet.

Parking: Parking depends on many factors. They do validate. If you don't mind a little walk, there is free parking. If there are main stream events free parking is hard to find.
