After finding horrible queues at other breakfast places we found this place and only waited about 5 minutes to be seated which is fantastic for Ventura, CA! These people know what they are doing. Despite covid and restaurant renovations (dining is in a temporary area) we enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in a long time - fine dining at an affordable price. We thought it was very reasonable for what we had (filet and pork chops plus appetizers). The hotel is a historic landmark and their menu is very traditional. If you are visiting the area ordering through on the 101highway, this is the place to stop. Always high quality dishes and moderate prices. Usually fine for drop-ins. I am today enjoying Clam chowder and a turkey club sandwich with a Caesar salad. The service here is excellent !!
