Food and service are amazing! The beer, on the other hand, is another story. Many of us in the craft-beer community have similar consensus - go for the food, avoid the beer. Many fond memories of this spot from the days of Ventura Surf Brew and the Homebrew store that accompanied the brewery. We have chalked it up to "Ghosts of Breweries Past."

I wanted to like this place. I came with my family because it says it was a family-friendly brewery. There was a man who was raging drunk and all over the place and they kept serving him. We watched a few tables leave because of him, and I would have had another drink and hung out but we ate and left as quickly as we could too. He apparently came with kids, but was talking to other kids (kids from the other groups who left), seemingly making them uncomfortable. He seemed to be a friend of the staff, or at the very least a regular? Shame, the food and beer were good.

Tried this place quite by random after searching “kid friendly brewery near me”. The photo of the burger and the fact that they have a kids menu and food that is made in-house rather than food trucks was what sold us on the place. So glad we tried it and will definitely be back. Service was very friendly and well-informed, space was large and clean and had great options for us to play some board games or watch tv while we waited on food to arrive. IPAs I tried were excellent. Loved and appreciate the range of food options from good gastropub fried options to clean, healthier options. Seems to be great for large groups or an intimate couple or even solo… It’s overused and non-specific, but I loved the entire feel and “vibe” of the place from when we entered to when we wrapped. The names and descriptions of the beers and the way the menu is laid out makes it all a very accessible and easy, enjoyable experience. Someone knows what they’re doing here…

I love beer and good food and this did not disappoint. But I was blown away by their watermelon sangria. It was phenomenal and worthy of going back for more. I hope they will make it to go in the future.
