Food is good but too expensive. $4/cup of mediocre diner coffee Is too much IMO cheap endless refill drip coffee is how Diners used to attract customers not take advantage of them to inflate an already expensive bill.

wasn’t bad, ordered the chicken eggs benidect, egg was closer to hard boiled than poached, large portions and fair price so i can’t totally complain.

Best breakfast by far. I always get the jambalaya, but there's so much more on the menu.

This is a spot. I'm no expert on jambalaya but I do know this jambalaya was delicious. Cornbread and beignets 10/10 too. Will be back when I'm in the neighborhood ??

It was my first time here, and I think this is now one of my favorite restaurants in Ventura. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is great, and the service is very professional! It’s definitely worth a visit!

Whoever made my chilaquiles around 11:45 am thank you so much! I always have this dish and today was exceptional! Loved the ratio of cotija along with the salsa. A delicious breakfast really makes me day :)

Very pleasant and helpful staff. I don't like the flavor or aroma of the oil they use for cooking. It's a very popular place, so my opinion is likely not shared.

Parking: Ventura has several free parking lots and some street parking on the blocks near the pedestrian only parts of main street.

Louisiana Cajun style breakfast and lunch place. It's Jambalaya-on-the-Bayou good! Hearty portions, amazing flavors. The servers are consistently friendly and speedy; the food comes out steamy hot. Love this place.

Delicious! The fried chicken has country gravy, bacon, pouched eggs, on a scratch-made biscuit. Fantastic! My partner had the shrimp jambalaya with over-easy eggs. They also have adult beverages like bloody Marys and micheladas. No wait on a a Sunday morning, either!
