My boy Bobby hooked us up with some amazing food today. His service was amazing! Super relational and helpful. He cooked up some great dishes for us that hit the spot. Would recommend anyone ask for Bobby as there server if you looking for a great time! BOBBY is the GOAT. Only going back when Bobby is working .❤️❤️

In my opinion, Casa de Soria has the best chips and dip in area! Very friendly staff and the atmosphere is always great. Come for the carnitas, stay for the bean dip

I had a family dinner here recently and it was a horrible experience. The service was awful, we couldn't get our server to come by our table, my food was cold as hell when delivered. My beer was empty for over 20min before I was able to get another drink. Unfortunately that drink was trash. A Shirley Temple is supposed to have grenadine and cherries, like the one already delivered to our table for another member of our party. Instead mine had a slight tint of red, no cherries, and tasted like dirty soda water. This was one my family's favorite restaurant for birthday celebrations and gatherings, but I'll be suggesting somewhere else in the future, as our past few visits have left much to be desired.

We get the refried beans to go every other week. Recently when dining in and again with take out we were extremely disappointed in the beans. They now have what seems to be tiny pieces of potatoes and clearly the recipe has changed. They do not have nearly as much oil and they do not taste the same. The chips and salsa are great. I can’t say so about the rest of the food. I am not sure we will be going back.

Wow! What a surprise! After great chips and salsa, we shared a Chile relleno, lobster/crab enchiladas, and taco. The taco was only ok, but everything else was fantastic! We've been coming to Ventura for years and have been missing this treasure! Staff is excellent too! We finally have a favorite Mexican place out here. Also, I very much appreciate the prices.

Food and service was exceptional! From the chips and salsa and bean dip to the Tacos Del Mar and the Ceviche Bowl, we loved it.
They used to be so good, but recently their service has gone down the toilet. The last few times they have shorted us multiple items with our order. They packed items with lots of sauce in flimsy containers that leaked out all over the bag and car seat. They did not seal the cup of salsa. The only reason it did not leak was because they only filled it half way. I feel bad leaving bad reviews on family run places but it has gotten bad. At least their salsa and food are good, what they did give us. Dine-in there is fine but take out is bad.
