I ordered the Mary Bridget's Irish Stew and it was a huge disappointment.
Plate was very hot but the stew was warm.
I only counted 3 small pieces of lamb the size of a popcorn and nothing else in it.
I thought I was just eating gravy.
I'm pretty sure this place has better for options to choose from

I always go to Dargans when I'm in Ventura! Good quality food for the price. I can't emphasize enough that the leek and potato soup is out of this world!

The food was great here. The service was fast, and the server was friendly. I went with a big group, 4 adults, and 6 kids. The staff and patriots were upstanding of the kids being kids (loud and fussy at times). I highly encourage people to give it a try.

Dargans' food was great. Their Ice Cream Brownie was to die for; so warm, cool, and delicious. The staff was very friendly. The musical guests they had the night I went were amazing!

Top notch Irish pub! Highly recommend the Steak and Guineas pie and the fish and chips! Staff is super friendly and professional and the food is second to NONE! Makes me proud to be Irish!
All the servers work together to make sure our group was extremely well cared for. The food was delicious! I definitely recommend the Irish Stew Pie

Cute higher-end Irish pub. Got dessert and a great Guinness. Staff was super nice.
You can't go wrong with any of the food at Dargan's: bangers and mash, buffalo chicken sandwich, corned beef and cabbage, fish and chips are all excellent and the Guinness onion soup is so underrated and cannot be missed. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating, family friendly, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Best spot for a cold Guinness in Ventura. My only wish is that they put more women's sports on TV, but are always accommodating when asked to change a channel.
