Probably the best bbq in the Ventura City. We get their brisket as soon as they open because they can sell out fast. Place orders right when they open, expect an up to 30-40 min delay to build yours on a busy day. They lemonade is also great! Small operation with sometimes weird hours so always call to ensure they are open before driving over - they’ve been closed when visiting. Also narrow operating hours.
bbq restaurant in a sleepy strip mall in northern ventura. went in thinking i was just going to take sample bites from our order, but couldn't stop. the bbq chicken sandwich is reminiscent of the mc rib, but chicken of course! the ribs are dry rub, and taste great with or without the sauce. we'll be back!

Wow! We just ordered out a dozen pork ribs. They were amazing. Incredible side of coleslaw - spicy and just the right texture. I had a glass of wine inside while waiting - beautiful space. Looking forward to coming back for more food.
