Just tried this sushi spot near the beach. It’s great! The food is high quality, the service is great, it comes out relatively fast. I can’t help but think that their prices are a little too high, particularly bc of the location which is a parking lot basically you expect it to be cheap and it’s not. While price will prevent me from coming back too often, I do hope to return here soon. Recommend trying this spot if you haven’t and you’re in the area. I personally recommend their Katsu and the yellowtail basic roll. They also do a good hot scallop roll thing.

They made a sign that appeared to advertise a $9 Chirashi bowl, but the bill came out at $33. I even said “I’d like to order the $9 chirashi bowl advertised out front” and the waitress didn’t say anything (She also told me she wrote it and didn’t acknowledge it was confusing)
The food was also not that great but the shady bait and switch business practice deserves a review. I’d recommend going to Kao Ramen for ramen or Seaward Sushi over this place for better food and better business practice.

Great sushi. Everything we had was delicious.The restaurant is next door to Vons at Ventura Keys and easy to dismiss, but it's a hidden gem.Not open late so go early.Saw many local Asians using the restaurant so that's always a good sign.

We got the veggie tempura and a sashimi supreme (22 pieces of sashimi). We were so impressed with the quality, variety, and cut of the fish that we ordered a whole other platter. The atmosphere isn't authentic or perfect, but the food is amazing.
