Excellent food and service. Don't miss out on the burger. It's fantastic :-) Live band to entertain on certain nights

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, but we visited it only for breakfast. Avocado toast and smoked salmon toast were good.

We had a confirmed reservation, AND I called first to be sure they were open. Nevertheless, when we arrived, the cafe was closed in preparation for a special event. We ended up eating across the street at Aloha Steakhouse, which I would definitely recommend. It has a much better ambience and view.

We only went for dueling pianos and the staff and entertainment were fantastic! Our server danced to our table with our drinks! And no cover charge!Such fun!

We didn't go for the food. So I'm not sure how the food is I saw a burger come out that looked amazing. We were there for Dueling Pianos So much fun!! I highly recommend this!! We had a blast! Grab your friends and head on down for a great time

Fun to come in on a Friday or Saturday night for the Dueling Pianos show, which begins at 8 pm. It is part comedy show, part music. They take requests and the musicians seem to know every song people throw at them. Also impressed that they use locally sourced produce for their menu and cocktails.

The food was very good. Being so close to the beach added a little something to the experience.

9/28 I'm visiting Ventura on an annual girls trip with a friend. We're staying at the Crown Plaza. We opted for the room rate that includes breakfast. First off, let me say that the room rate that includes breakfast is a fantastic deal. I think it was $25 more per night and you're allowed to pick any entree on their breakfast menu, the most expensive of which is $25. There are two of us so it's basically like getting one breakfast for free. This morning I had the eggs benedict. I like my hollandaise super lemony so this wasn't the best as far as I'm concerned, but it wasn't bad. Service was super fast too. Our breakfast was served to us within about 5 minutes of ordering. Tomorrow I'll try something else and will update the review with that information.9/29 This morning I had the salmon toast for breakfast. It was delicious but if I was paying for it I would think it was overpriced at $20. It was included in our room rate though so for that price it was great. Service was also great this morning. Unfortunately last night it was awful. They brought us all the wrong food, which we didn't bother to correct it since it took forever to get. It was conveniently located though and we enjoyed the jazz band that was playing.9/30 This morning I had the chorizo chiliquilles for breakfast and they were amazing. Lick the bowl amazing. Service was much better as well.

The best vegan breakfast burrito in town! Great spot right on the beach, you can stare at the ocean and hear the waves crashing. Excellent service and huge complements to the chef! Definitely worth a try for anyone! Thanks guys.

I came by myself about half an hour before closing but (I don't know if I caught her name right from her name tag) Shelley was enthusiastic, warm and welcoming. She let me sit anywhere and let me know the special and recommended the Moofish Burger which I went ahead to order. She told me the name refers to surf n' turf. How cute!I asked for a medium well patty and it actually came out medium well. It was nicely displayed, vegetables were fresh, sauces were generous but not overwhelming. And the coconut shrimp was quite coconuty in flavor. The side of waffle cut fries were lightly Cajun seasoned, crisp on the outside, and startchy on the inside.Outstanding service from Shelley (sorry, I'm pretty sure it started with an S but I'm not sure of the name). Made my night! Thanks for making my lonely dining experience bright and welcoming.

The worst meal I've had in a long time. The asparagus was burnt. The halibut was overcooked and very dry. The mashed potatoes were dry and lukewarm. I do not recommend eating here. Go somewhere else. BTW, I used to cook and manage a seafood restaurant. Consider the source of this review.

The servers are all very nice and try their best to make your dining experience pleasant. That's nearly all I can say that's nice about this restaurant. I recommend avoiding this place and visiting one is the many other restaurants on the boardwalk or in Downtown Ventura. Both entrees we ordered were unappetizing. The mashed potatoes were good! The chicken was slightly undercooked, the fish was frozen not fresh, the asparagus was served burnt, and the soda was so watered down it was pointless to drink. We will not return here. Ever.
