Mystic Water Kava Bar Ventura

Upon entry, you're greeted with a very calming vibe including the man at the counter. The bar itself is adorned in various decorations that remind me of an Ojai coffee shop or a speakeasy in Portland, OR. A little pricey, but a great experience overall.

Wow. Just wow. I love walking here after a stressful day/week. The owner and his cat are a delight and I'm so happy we have a Kava bar here now! I had no idea how wonderful Kava is! I recommend this place to everyone young to elderly. I'm amazed at how relaxing it is, I have no words! You just need to experience it!

Interesting place! Had never had "kava" before and it was a trip! Visited w a friend.... Owner/bartender was super helpful answering all our questions, making suggestions, and giving instructions.... We enjoyed our kava on the outdoor patio with a visit from the resident kitty, "Driftwood." Similar feeling to having a glass or two of wine, with an earthy chai taste.

Cool spot, worth visiting if you’ve been considering trying Kava

I was in a mass trauma accident that caused a leison on my sciatica nerve which is the source for peripheral neuropathy. I found kava to be a great source of pain relief. I also found it tremendously helpful in getting relaxed muscles prior to a deep, therapeutic stretch.

Highly recommended for post surgery pain relief, or prepare muscles before therapeutic stretching.

Wheelchair accessibility: I made it to the bathroom in my wheelchair. More importantly, kava provides muscle tension relief for people in wheelchairs

This was my second time here, and once again, I'm in awe by the breathtaking atmosphere that envelopes you as soon as you walk through the door. The ambiance is nothing short of magical, with soft lighting, cozy seating arrangements, and a soothing aura that immediately puts you at ease.

The service here is amazing. The owner is not not only knowledgeable about his offerings but also incredibly friendly and attentive. He takes the time to explain kava and all it has to offer.

There is the sense of community and belonging that I have never experienced before. The people here, from fellow patrons to the owner, create an environment that instantly makes you feel at home. It's a space where you can unwind, connect with others, and feel a sense of camaraderie that is rare to find. You can't help but feel connected to everyone and everything around you.

This place welcomes you with open arms and ensures that every visit is as comforting and enriching as the last. If you're looking for a place where you can truly disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with yourself and others, look no further!

FINALLY! A unique and eclectic environment in Ventura that cultivates community and the power of kava. From the time that I have been in this area, I have seen this location change many hands. I truly hope that this place stays around for a very long time. Once you walk into this gorgeous environment, you will feel a very unique vibe. This place is absolutely gorgeous! I felt immediately at home as Avi (the owner) is kind, generous and extremely welcoming in an authentic way.One of the worst feelings you can ever have is to feel unwelcome when you first visit a new space. I’m telling you, I have a sense that this little find is going to be establishing an amazing name for itself - because whoever steps inside these doors will find a community that feels like home (as long as they are welcome to it of course). Whether you go alone or you are in a group - Mystic Water is a place where you can truly explore a unique environment, amazing community and of course… the ceremonial kava that is an alcohol-free alternative for a social night life.Avi - you brought magic to this area. Thank you for breathing new life into Ventura. You are doing magical things and you are cultivating a circle that is absolutely amazing.
