I will start out by stating I love Orozco’s fresh-homemade food recipes, craft cocktails and friendly service. I am a local and have visited a handful of times. Each time however, I’ve waited minimum, 45 minutes to 1 hour to receive our food order. I recently visited the restaurant again and this time it took 1.5 hours to get our order and they had it wrong, so they had to take back and redo. I can understand a time or two, or during busy peak hours but CONSISTENTLY every time it’s unacceptable and an awful long time. We were simply told the food is made fresh and it takes time to prepare. Unfortunately, this discredits any good experience and will to revisit. I do recommend this restaurant as it’s truly amazing food, but strongly suggest patrons to really plan ahead and expect delays, long wait times and slow service. If you’re hungry or on a timeframe, this is not the place you want to visit.

First time there. Really friendly staff and the best carne asada fries in my life. Looking forward to the other dishes.

No salsa no, avocados, food was cold! Poor service, bathrooms were nasty., sorry but will never go back. Very expensive, not worth it at all!

Just walked out. 40 minutes, no waters. The kicker for me was the owner. He very kindly came to our table and said hello and told us how the recipes are his families. In fact, he seemingly was socializing with many of the tables. Unfortunately, I didn't see him once bring anyone a water and I certainly didn't see him shaking any cocktails. Or seating guests. 2 waitresses, 1 which seemingly was only allowed to bring chips out. And there's the owner, chatting away.

Best food in Ventura literally any plate you try.the green micheladas are amazing. The best part is the hospitality. They also have an amazing back patio and on fridays they have live music sometimes. It's a must it's a hidden gem.

Best tasting vegetarian food I have gotten at a Mexican place in a long time. Was nice ambiance outdoors. The owner comes to check in on you personally, was very friendly and accommodating of our noisy kids. Great service and great experience!

Love this place! Been here twice and they have been so consistent with the food and service! Their patio bring a fun vibe perfect for a date night or family gathering. We enjoyed their Tomahawk cooked to medium rare perfection! Definitely a great place to eat when in Ventura!

Incredibly delicious Tomahawk steak! Super generous portion. Incredibly tasty and so many sides Regular looking restaurant but don't be fooled by appearances. We drive from West LA to Orozco's for these to-die-for Tomahawks regularly!

Coming from Bakersfield to this restaurant was a very humbling experience.. custumer service was amazing but the food was not seasoned at all ... very nice plating and decor but I've never tried rice or beans with zero to almost no seasoning. I am Mexican and I've gone to a lot of mexican restaurants and I myself cook mexican dishes but this is obviously targeted to people with different tastesParking: Very packed and difficult to find the place if you aren't from around here
