Pete's Breakfast House is a classic breakfast and lunch restaurant. It offers delicious, fresh food made with high-quality ingredients. There is a wide variety of food on the menu, including American breakfast and Mexican food. Sandwiches and pancakes are also available. We came to this restaurant by recommendation from my husband's parents. We noticed that our favorite TV food show Guy Fieri's photo was hanging on the wall. I liked the pancake roll the best and I highly recommend it.

Super yummy food and unsurpassed service. It's a local place where people know each other. I was just passing through , but felt the warmth and familiarity.

Very busy, delicious local diner steps from Ventura HS. Rather enjoyed our omelettes & my girls loved the potatoes as much as I did! Would Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area & wanting a delicious breakfast!

We had to wait about 20 minutes to sit down but Pete's is in a cute street with plenty to see and check out.We ordered the huevos rancheros- good but nothing extraordinary. And of course the stuffed pancake. Wow! It's huge but not overly filing. The yogurt is light and the pancake is fluffy so we didn't leave feeling weighed down. The fresh fruit and granola really made the dish!

Breakfast diners are the best! Pete's is solid old school Ventura breakfast choice. Took my toddlers for a breakfast at Pete's on a busy Friday morning. We ate on their side patio. Service was great and they were on it with coffee refills. The kid's blueberry pancake and the potatoes were the best items we ordered. Definitely get the potatoes, crispy and well seasoned. I also appreciated that the fruit was fresh and not just a bunch of melon. Will return when in the area and craving a traditional breakfast.

Back and brought the family. The fresh squeezed OJ isn't really fresh squeezed... and the potatoes that accompanied the entrees were somewhat undercooked yet with burnt edges. Otherwise, all the food we ordered (club, burger, bacon/eggs) was tasty and fresh. Service is a bit slow... perhaps a bit understaffed as our server was taking care of customers outside and inside.

Wonderful food and service! This place is always packed so be prepared to wait but it's worth it! Must get the home made biscuits with fresh butter! My friend liked her breakfast sandwich and I loved my Greek omelette. They keep your coffee filled too. Great place great staff!!

What a great place for breakfast! The coffee is good, the food was great and the price for a senior breakfast brought me back to the 80's. Pancake or biscuit or toast, sausage or bacon, 1 egg the way you want. Delicious

I eat at Pete's quite often, and they are amazing. It is one of the few places where I can eat the sausage and bacon due to my food allergies. Also the food is really good, and we have been there so many times we have tried half the menu. Every time the food is amazing. Next their out door patio is the place to be. The inside can be loud and is bit cramped, but outside you have plenty of room at it is quiet. Also service is great but if they are busy you will wait an appropriate amount of time for your food.

Go now. Ended up here by accident. I was driving up the 101 and my wife searched to find breakfast as we approached Ventura. Reviews were good, so we tried it. Looks average from the outside, but it's definitely among the top ten diner style breakfast places I've ever visited (I've visited thousands because I used to be chef/owner at a popular Philadelphia diner). Could not have been happier. I rarely visit Ventura, but any time I'm nearby, I'll try to have breakfast here. Go now. Seriously, stop reading this and go.

I was disappointed that my pancake roll covered in yogurt and their great homemade granola was actually burnt in the center. I thought it was a little dark to begin with but they were busy and I didn't want to waste food. That pancake should not have made it on any plate. I've had the pancake roll there several times and this has never been an issue.

Best breakfast in Ventura. The pancakes are amazing. The pancake combo with eggs and sausage is big enough fire 2 people to split.

Had discontinued the Ca omelet and served warm water.
