Rumfish y Vino is one of my go-to spots in Downtown Ventura, especially during happy hour. I love grabbing a seat at the bar, where the service is always warm and the vibes are just right.
Food-wise, everything I’ve tried has been a hit: the Peruvian ceviche is fresh and bright, esquites are rich and packed with flavor, the fish taco is perfectly crispy, and the rotating flatbread special never misses. Last time I had the apricot habanero bacon flatbread, so good!
Also obsessed with their seasonal cocktail, ‘Son of a Peach’ easily my favorite summer drink. Sweet, refreshing, with just a little kick.
If you’re in DT Ventura, make this spot a priority. Great bites, drinks, and a laid-back but elevated atmosphere.

You can tell he truly cares about the guest experience. Every course was a hit, and Chris’s recommendations were spot on. This place is a gem, and Chris made it shine even brighter. We made reservations a month prior and they sat us a bit on the corner on the other side of the outdoor patio. It would have been nice to be seated abit more center. Aside from that, the food and wait staff were great!

We were SPOILED by the Hostess and our Server!! I let them know it was our anniversary and so they seated us right on time right by one of the patio fireplaces! Our Server was positive, informative, and just right. The food was outstanding. Thanks for making our trip from LA worthwhile.

This restaurant was perfect. The menu is mostly tapas style. Out party of 5 had a hard time not just ordering everything on the menu. Everything looks so good. We loved the dishes we ordered. They also have an interesting cocktail menu that also includes a wide variety of mocktails. We were visiting Ventura, but if we lived here, we would put this restaurant on the list of places to visit frequently.

Was at a loss as my plans cancelled due to Forest fires . Was told go here and wow they were right loved it chilled out vibe service was top notch and the food was so nice good my dessert the coconut bread pudding outstanding I’m British we know a good bread pudding 100/100 that good . Nice beers too
