I haven’t been back to Ventura in a while, and I forgot just how good Russell’s donuts are. We got a dozen and they are so light and pillowy. The whole family loved these delicious treats.

The donuts are very good and cheap but I have some things three stars because as she’s running my card I grabbed the box and pulled it toward me and it seemed like she kind of freaked out. I know it’s the avenue but I’m not coming to steal a dozen donuts in my fancy ass car parked out front. 😆 That’s the only thing I’d say is because I look a certain way tattoos and bright red hair that I was judged a bit it seems. Although they are good donuts it was packed and I feel weird going there now so probably wouldn’t go back.

Doughnuts were bomb.. went to the hood to get bomb doughnuts.. wasnt disappointed at all.. service was great, order was great.. the hood was doin what the hood does.. not sure why but everything always tastes better in the hood! Definitely be back..

Russell’s cuts the donut open and hand spreads a generous portion of custard into it. Already a return customer.
ALWAYS GO HERE AND THIS MORNING I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED , I ORDERED A BAGEL AND CREAMCHEESE , BAGEL WAS BURNT AND HARDLY ANY CREAMCHEESE , THEY ARE USALLY GOOD AND ALOT OF

I've been coming here since I was a kid. Chocolate bar with nuts remains my "go to" - I've never found it anywhere else. This place remains a staple on the Ave. Parking can be a pain, but just drive around the block, and someone has left by that time ;)
