The food is a bit over priced. Gotta be careful with the drinks I found a fly in my drink once. Customer service wasn't the best they let people cut in front of you sometimes. The food is tasty, the salsa could be spicier. I like how they cut the all pastor reminds me of Tijuana/Ensenada.

We stopped by at 9:30 on a Tuesday. We got al pastor and Asada. The pastor was the best, super tender and flavorful. The guys were very nice and friendly. Definitely recommend theyre there every night 6-12am

We ordered tacos al pastor and a burrito. Both dishes tasted great, better than at most places in Ventura. The service was quick the cook explained to us all the options. Will buy from them again.

Absolutely some of the best tacos I've had in Ventura. Stopped by really quick after Target after putting it off way too many times and it was just as good, and better than I hoped it'd be. Really affordable compared to every other taco place I've been to in the area and better tasting. The bits of fresh charred pineapple on the pastor tacos was so good. The guys working tonight were super friendly and wrapped our food up to go really quickly. The tortillas were also homemade I'm pretty sure. Every bit was delicious and I can't wait to go back and try all of the other meat and their tortas. HIGHLY recommended, I'm so glad these guys are allowed to have their pop-up and I hope they're around for a long long time.

Brisket burritos and Al pastor tacos. You won't find that in this area done so well. Also, their salsas are fantastic.

I ordered 12 tacos and almost all were amazing. The buche was cooked well and the texture was on point. The suadero was really tender and moist. The flavor was rich and perfectly seasoned The al pastor had a really unique and great taste. I love it when places put their own spin on the marinade. It was perfectly cooked and thinly sliced off the trompo. The outside was crispy and the inside was still moist. Definitely one of my favorites. The lengua was a little overcooked for my liking. It still had held its shape, but I like when it has a little chew to it. That said, unlike other places, it definitely absorbed a lot of flavor from the pan. The cabeza was on the mushy tender side. Also perfectly seasoned. The asada had a really nice smokiness from the charcoal grill, but the meat quality poor and was really chewy. Service is nice. The tacos here are as good as many of the better LA/SD taco spots and significantly better than any taco spot in the bay (even Oakland). It was worth the 35m wait in line and I'll definitely come back! Pretty much on par with la Better than all bay Asada chewy

We were recommended by our friend, Hannah, to try this place en route home from The Sant Barbera Bowl, last Saturday. It was 11PM at night and Hannah mentioned this place was open until midnight. It's literally in a big white tent on the sidewalk in front of Target. OMG there is a reason there was a long line this late at night. They had the best tacos al pastor with all of the condiments and a piece of barbecued pineapple as a garnish. I recommend this place if you're in the mood for authentic tacos and/or have the late night munchies :)

Their tacos, the pastor, carnitas, tripas, cabeza are on point. The pastor does not have that red food dye that I see with other trompas. The cabeza is addictive. You can also ask for the tripas to be cooked crispy. I'm not really sure about their time, but tonight I'm happy they're there.

great tacos and excellent people. We flew in later on in the day and got hungry and realized that almost every food place was closed. We looked online and were lucky enough to find Tacos Al Pastor. Took us about 15 minutes to arrive and we were greeted by friendly people and delicious smells. Great tacos, great sauces, and great burritos! We were hungry. lol. Highly recommend if in the Ventura County.

BEST TACOS IN VENTURA COUNTY.these are truly authentic street tacos. Before the first time i came here i would always drive by, it being on the sidewalk right in-front of target always caught my attention especially when you are waiting for the light to turn green. finally one day after grabbing a drink and heading home I stopped and ever since then this is my go to taco spot. These tacos are amazing not only are they constantly busting them out with a quickness ( you only really have to worry about waiting in the line to order but as soon as your up your order is being made right in-front of you). This tacos stand still hold true taco stand prices the tacos are 2.50 each, which now a days is a steal compared to what a lot of tacos trucks and stands are charging by the piece and honestly it really shows when you are paying at the end. normally when i get 4 tacos and an agua fresca it comes out to 15. The meats are always fresh and perfectly cooked they have everything from pastor and asada, to buche and tripa and even cabeza i think. they always throw the meat back on the plancha to crisp it up before it gets plated on-top the tacos not only that but the sazón of these cooks is amazing. the way that they handle the plancha and are putting together your meals is truly am art form and a performance, they really put on a show. I think what really puts it over the top too is there options for toppings I grew up back in the bay area where there is a lot of food diversity and a lot of GOOD FOOD, and every time I go to a taco truck or stand im always a bit let down. something is always missing but this place HAS THAT THING. it's there toppings at the end once you've gone down the line and gotten your food they have the usual cilantro and onion but they always have amazing salsa from spicy red salsa to Avocado salsa and they even have a curtido of pickled red onions and jalapeños and habanero ( which is my personal fave) as well as you get a charred chile and caramelized onions with whatever you order. best part is that they don't charge you extra for any of these things and you get you pick what you want yourself. so you can get as much salsa, cilantro, onion, etc. as you want. I hate when places police just how much toppings you can get. if you have been looking for the right taco stand. THIS IS THE ONE!
