it was my 2nd visit at this place. first impressions are really important. walkway was dirty . powerwashing helps. than. we where greeted by a young lady. Definitely not happy to be working there. we ordered a pastrami sandwich. and asked for a French roll .please. while sitting down I noticed restaurants supplies all over the place on top of coke machine. and other appliances. then she started to mope the floors. no gloves!! the the girl makes are sandwich was just as unhappy to be working there. so I thought ok maybe the sandwich will be ok for some reason she toasted are bread roll . the sandwich was dry. not real taste to it. the hat is definitely a much better tasting sandwich. plus clean restaurants. the door to the bathroom was dirty. and employees wash there hands definitely won't go back. I think someone lost his passion for food n customer service.

I order lunches for our firm every couple of weeks from VSC and they never disappoint. Their staff is always welcoming and smiling when I pick up. Delicious food!! My favorite is the Turkey Club on ciabatta.

I stopped by Ventura Sandwich Company today and ordered the Turkey Club on sourdough, and even before the sandwich hit the table you could tell this place is doing something right.

When I walked in there wasn’t a big line, but they already had quite a few orders stacked up ahead of mine. The woman working the counter let me know it would be about a 15-minute wait, which honestly just tells you how popular this place is.

I’m actually writing this review while waiting for my sandwich, and once it arrived it absolutely delivered.

The sourdough was lightly toasted, giving it just enough texture without overpowering the sandwich. The turkey was sliced fairly thin but stacked generously, which made for a really satisfying bite. Everything came together nicely and felt like a well-built sandwich rather than something skimpy.

What stands out about Ventura Sandwich Company is the focus on quality ingredients and creative sandwiches. It’s the kind of place where the sandwiches feel thoughtfully made and generously portioned.

If you’re in Ventura and craving a quality well-made sandwich, this place is definitely worth checking out.

My cold roast beef and cheddar on Dutch Crunch was amazing. The Boar's Head beef was tender and tasty and the bread and fillings were fresh and complimenting. My first time here and now it's going to be a regular go-to of mine. Thank you Ventura Sandwich Company, I'm glad I finally found you! 😃

Best sandwiches! The hot veggie is amazing and
the hot Italian! The ciabatta crunch hoagie choice for bread is amazing! Everything is fresh and service is great. I order online for quick pickup- it can get really busy! Prices are surprisingly good as well! Try the jalapeño coleslaw!

You need a better French roll or sourdough roll. The ciabatta roll is mushy. When I ordered online, the pick up time was off, actually I ended up waiting 15 minutes longer than the time I was given to be there. Your space is small and cramped. There’s nowhere to wait for your sandwich except outside in the parking lot/sidewalk. There’s no intercom to announce when orders are ready. Just the girls screaming.

These people work HARD! To consistently assemble the best sandwiches in town day-after-day in a high-traffic area deserves... a sandwich! Or a generous tip. Yum!
