Very laid back, they have full bar which includes sake and my favorite plum wine which is delicious. I ordered the salt and pepper shrimp but pretty sure all dishes are good. The staff is very nice and helpful, and yes they are family oriented.

This place is one of the two best Chinese restaurants we have in the high desert. It is not far off of Int 15. So if you are hungry and passing thru. This place is worth the stop. Love the sweet n sour chicken. Fried perfectly. I really like how they gave you the sweet n sour sauce on the side. That way, when I got home, the chicken was still crisp. I even used the extra sauce to heat up the leftover fried rice the next day and added some rotisserie chicken. Good portions.

We've been in the high desert for 3 years now and have been looking for a good Chinese food spot and Golden Gate did not disappoint, I asked for an off menu item and they were happy to oblige. From the wonton soup, king Pao, short ribs, and also important the Drinks!! Signature drinks are made perfectly... 10/10 would highly recommend.
