Had worst service of my life on mother's day we came into being seated by leaving patrons complaining trying to pay bills. That should have been our first sign to just leave. After being seated we did not have order taken for half hour with no refills on drinks. Finally food ordered and received half order was over cooked they brought food out we had no silverware to eat with. My wife finally screamed out can we get silver ware to eat with please after we had asked 3 different waiters and waitresses. At that time we still didn't have any refills. We asked for boxes to just leave we received 1 box for 4 people. We had a order to go we received after waiting 15 min for them to find out bill. We didn't complain we just didn't tip. We got home opened box food we order to go which was pastrami and fries. Nope it was a beef patty and some eggs it looked like someone's left over meal. I paid and was charged for 3 breakfast meals 1 chicken sandwich and 1 pastrami to go. We received 3 breakfast plates over cooked fried eggs that were supposed over easy. No complaints chicken sandwich but never received pastrami that was paid for 16.95 plate we never received we got a patty and some eggs was told here's your pastrami to go. To go home hand the person who couldn't go their meal to be hit with what's is this a joke... I was so appauled embarrassed. I didn't realize we had to open the box given to make sure the correct food was given. This was the only to go order we had. Thumbs down crappy service mixed orders but the food that was correct was good. Work on getting orders correct guys and service under control. Like being served by bunch lil kids trying to make mom breakfast in bed for the first time. Happy mother's Day next year we will stay home do breakfast ourselves. Madness....

I recommend goodys for my mom on mother's day and I regret it. The staff was extremely backordered and could not handle the mother's day crowd. A lot of food getting sent out was incorrect to other tables and a lot of receipts were being redone to reflect the mistakes. It took 10 mins to be seated with booths open and no one ahead of us and another 30 to get our food ordered. When we finally got the food after another 30 minutes my moms overeasy egg were overcooked and almost fried looking. I also got a to-go pastrami sandwich for my partner and this is what I got instead. I unfortunately didn't check until I was already in the car outside and they were closed. My dogs are even skeptical to eat this. Im extremely disappointed and will think twice before recommending them in the future.

Very disappointed at the service this afternoon. If i could give a zero I would. Had to flag down a waitress to take our order. Over cooked the food, then delivered the food... surprise surprise no silverware. Had to wait for silverware. We were there for over 40 minutes before someone even asked if we would like a refill on drinks.. which was only waters. Should have read the room when we got there. There was more people complaining because they did not get food they ordered and was charged for. Forgotten about and never given a check. Dont waste your money and go to a different restaurant.

Mixed experience this morning. My son and I came in for a to-go order and were disappointed by the lack of service. We weren't greeted and stood for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, while couples coming in after us were seated right away. It took another 10 minutes just to place our order, and we even had to be flagged down as we left because an item was missed. Usually, local spots like this are very welcoming, but today felt disorganized. However, the food was actually very good and my son was really pleased with his meal, so we’ll likely give it another shot and hope for better service next time

What a wonderful gem of a restaurant in California! Their food was excellent, the quality totally beyond all restaurant and diner food we’ve had in CA in the last 18 years while visiting 2-3 times a year. They have a cook! Everything from their great staff to cleanliness inside and outside was as well done as it could be.

Really good customer service been here a few times and every time the owner comes and greets me and takes my order if they're not busy And lets the cook know exactly what I want, and makes you feel like family and welcomed not to many places like this around!!

Went in and ordered breakfast. Sunday morning. Place wasn’t very busy. Everybody in the entire restaurant got their food except us. All the servers were walking around in there not even noticing we had never been fed. When we finally asked our or about our order, they didn’t even know where it was. Since this place has changed hands it’s never been the same. We will not be going back there at all.

This establishment literally served me pancakes on a very unclean plate covered in chunks of onions. I brought it up to the manager and they tried to say it was on the pancakes from the grill. This is not the reason.

The onions were partially raw, cooked and with residue of previous food with parsley on the plate. She continued to argue even though she saw it in the plate. I told her I also have chunks of onions on the table. She blew it off.

I learned of the dirty plate when I lifted the pancakes up to separate and cut it up as usual. After waiting for 10 minutes to receive pancakes, yes, pancakes that only take maximum 5 minutes, I had to go to them and ask why I haven't received the new pancakes. prior to this, I also had to find someone to bring syrup.

The manager stated they didn't know I wanted my order remade. As a restaurant, it is always customary to ask the patron if they would like it made again. Not just take the dirty plate and choose not to remake it.

So the manager comes back with it. It was at that point I showed her an actual chunk of onions. She had no other option but to apologize. How are you going to argue when evidence proves the 1st time it was mentioned?

After that, this is when I inspected the pancakes. It was the same exact pancakes as the onions were cooked on to the pancakes. The onions were crunchy and the pancakes were cold at this point after waiting an additional 10 mins. I bring it up to her attention, again. She blew it off.

This is not the 1st time we were there. We've been patrons of this place for awhile. I was absolutely stunned of how they handled this.

After this, even though clearly it was thier fault, trespassed us.

What ever happened to taking ownership of the situation? Whatever happened to the customer service they used to provide? It was as simple as saying, yes, I see the plate is unclean. Let us make you fresh pancakes. That is the standard service restaurants provide when mistakes are happen.

Trespassed didn’t bother as I would not come back due to thier service and behavior.

The point of this is, always INSPECT your plate when eating at this establishment. Do not ask for it to be made as they will recycle your order onto a different plate.
