Terrible customer support.
I used the Vons app today for a one hour delivery time frame via the Carlsbad, CA store. After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!
My local Vons in Long Beach had over a month to prepare for a new law regarding the self check out lanes requiring more staffing to prevent theft. They threw up signs saying these lanes were closed with no other information other than to call the city (a beginner’s PR gaffe). Tonight, I put my stuff back and left the store when I saw 20 people in the two different lines which were open. No fast lane for 10 items or less open.
