I used the Vons app today for a one hour delivery time frame via the Carlsbad, CA store. After the third-party member picked up the order and did not deliver for almost three hours, I requested a refund for the melted ice cream which I received promptly. I certainly did not expect to see this a couple of hours later: a refund for the entire purchase...thank you Vons for going above and beyond with your customer service!
Food is good. The chocolate brownies are the best. There are some good deals but Vons is generally a more expensive store. Some of the employees should work on their customer service skills. The check out lines are terrible. I can't emphasize that enough... it can take almost 30 minutes when 3 people are in line. They also are terrible at recognizing they need to open up more check out stands when the 2 that are open are reaching out to the produce department.
