I don't understand how this place has such a low rating. We tried it for lunch and it was GREAT! I got a $5 mango margarita - delish. For my main dish, I ordered chimichanga with shredded beef and red sauce. It was cooked perfectly and was served with a dollop of sour cream and guac. Our waitress was pleasant and quick. Chips and salsa were good too. Will def be back!!!

Casa Grande has become a favorite place for us to eat when in Visalia. The staff is friendly and inviting. Food is served hot, fast and delicious. Even their chips are warm and the salsa is just the right amount of heat. I love ordering from their lunch menu. The right amount of food at a very reasonable price.

The food was way too salty . We didn't get any refills nor did we get good service. Definitely not going back again and not worth the money.

The menudo could use a little more TLC. Was served with a lot of hominy and light on the meat. Had to ask for juice because it came out so dry AND it was salty. But other than that the chips and salsa were good. Hard to say if I would go back or not.

This restaurant was recommended to me why I will never no. I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was terrible my ground beef taco was soaked in water. Gross by the way. When I brought to my waitresses attention she just said there was nothing they could do that is how it is. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Microwave food does not do good in this restaurant. The rice and tamale was way overcooked from the microwave. I didn't like yellow cheese on my chili relleno, I prefer chili Verde sauce with mozzarella or Mexican dried cheese. My husband is a chef and he said this food was not it's best.

Nice place. Our server was really sweet. Is this not the slowest place in town? 45 minutes to get food (Thursday Eve, not packed). The pace around here needs to be kicked up a few notches, lots of slow pokin. All yall that recommended the enchiladas can kick rocks, trash. Try el

Were out of french fries. The wait was over an hour due to being short staffed again!!! We had toddlers with us and eventually asked to get it to go!! The toddlers didn’t think the substitution of rice and beans for the fries with their hamburgers was acceptable. Wont go back. That was the second time stuff like that happened to us.

I ordered green Chicken enchiladas and I was expecting that but instead I got enchiladas that were the color of canned chicken noodle soup and also tasted like it. There was no hint of tomatillos or jalapeños in the sauce and the beans and rice had a very heavy lard taste. The customer service was bad as well. The young girls that rang us up had no respect at all. They didn't ask how our meal or service was, they didn't even look at us. They were too busy joking and cussing back n forth at each other like some little high school girls. Very unprofessional. But the one good thing was the price. Very reasonable. But unfortunately I won't be returning here again. It's not the same Casa Grande that I knew from back in the day.

If you want anything remotely close to real Mexican food skip this restaurant. Sad even compared to Tex Mex which isn't real Mexican food, the asada is flavorless and burnt, the service was slow on a fairly empty dining room, and everything is just smothered in cheese. In the plus side the low prices eased the blow of a bland and disappointing meal. Bring your date here if you want to let them know you don't have taste and don't want to see them again.
