“A Club Hater’s Spiritual Awakening at Cellar Door (ft. Ulises Valdez, the Mixology Messiah)”

Okay, let me start by saying I hate clubs. Like, truly. I’d rather wrestle a cactus than stand shoulder-to-shoulder with sweaty strangers listening to bass that rearranges my internal organs. But somehow… SOMEHOW… Cellar Door and Ulises Valdez converted me.

From the moment I walked in, Ulises greeted me like I was a VIP celebrity who just dropped an album. The man was mixing drinks like a wizard casting spells. I swear I saw smoke and sparkles when he shook that cocktail shaker — it was art. I asked for “something good” and got a drink so delicious I momentarily saw my ancestors dancing under disco lights.

Every time I thought, “Okay, one more drink then I’m out,” Ulises would pull another masterpiece out of thin air like, “Try this one.” And of course, I had to. By the end of the night, I was hyping up strangers, vibing to music I didn’t know existed, and declaring Cellar Door my new religion.

In conclusion:
✨ The vibes — immaculate.
✨ The drinks — dangerously good.
✨ Ulises — deserves a Nobel Prize in bartending.

I walked in a club hater and left a Cellar Door disciple. If Ulises is behind the bar, I’m never skipping club night again

Ulises is hands down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever met super sweet and has great energy the vibes are always good when he’s behind the bar. If you see Ulises working you’re in good hands.

Ulises connects with everybody on a personal level. Whether it be your first time meeting him, he treats you like a good friend. The Cellar Door’s atmosphere has risen since he’s been a part of the staff team. Plus him being the bartender there >>

Great venue for live music. Friendly staff. Appetizers were okay. Drinks have gone up in price a few dollars just like any other bar.

The club has an interesting vibe and is worth a visit, but there are some concerns. The food is overpriced, especially the bar snacks, and drinks are quite costly. We've been on different days and noticed some staff drama, including turning away certain clients while allowing known gang members in. Some staff on the floor tend to hit on clients, and I even saw one leave with a visibly drunk person. While the club is popular with young people, many women have reported safety issues and stolen belongings, which is worrying. Overall, the atmosphere can be fun, but be cautious about safety and prices.

It's an alright place, seen a few good shows there. I don't drink, but I heard a few complaints from people who got ignored at the bar.

Nice venue and location. Comedy show was great but it was like sitting in a sauna for two hours. Customers and the performers were consistently complaining about how hot it was. There was literally no air moving in that room and it was a sold out event. My first time going there but I’d really have to rethink going again, just because of the lack of air conditioning. If I was the owner and my air conditioning wasn’t working, I would bring portable fans in. It would’ve made it big difference.

I recently had a disappointing experience at cellar door , primarily due to the behavior of the bouncer. His attitude was outright rude and disrespectful, making it clear that he thinks he owns the place. Today, several of my friends felt uncomfortable because of his actions. He denied entry to some people for no apparent reason, while allowing others in based on his own arbitrary standards flat out after we left the other venue republik like we don’t appreciate it .

I witnessed a situation where someone or groups that he seems to not like just trying come simply saying hi to a friends inside or workers, and the bouncer aggressively told them they couldn't come in. This kind of selective treatment is not only unprofessional but also creates a very strange and unwelcoming vibe. It seems like he is more interested in asserting power than ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. Mean my friends got not let in just no reason he just was like you can’t come in sorry.

Also it is worse, tall guy with tattoos on his face and big gauges who appeared to be letting his friends in who are there trying to lure girls to his shop. This behavior raises serious concerns about the establishment's atmosphere and the people they allow to operate within it.

It’s disheartening to see a place that could be chill and fun turn into a venue where people are treated poorly and where there are whispers of drug use and predatory behavior via the bouncer being weird with women. The management needs to seriously reevaluate their staff and the culture they are fostering. Until changes are made, I cannot recommend cellar door but go to republik it safer plus enjoyable place to visit.

Highly recommended for anyone needing this kind of help.

Not as nice as I'm sure they think it is. No full kitchen... so food is limited. Wine selection is good, but atmosphere is stale and haphazard.
