The food was less than appetizing. I ordered a caldo siete mares it's was disgusting no flavor. Seems like something dumped out of a frozen mixed seafood bag. My wife and daughter ordered a parrillada de mariscos was also gross. The lady handling the cashier was pretty nice. She even brought us homemade tortillas instead of the taco size tortillas we were given with our food. The actual server was a jerk and unprofessional and had a bad attitude perhaps cause it was close to end of his shift.

The owners were there, extremely accommodating. The food was great, and so were our mixed drinks.

Hi Miguel,

I wanted to share some feedback about our recent visit to your restaurant. First off, I have to say that the ambiance and concept of the place are truly great – it’s clear a lot of thought went into creating a warm and welcoming space. We were really excited to try a local spot here in Visalia on a Sunday afternoon with family.

We were greeted at the door by a kind young woman, which made for a great first impression. Unfortunately, the service took a sharp turn after that. Our order was taken by someone named Pancho, whose attitude was unexpectedly rude and dismissive. It was disheartening to experience such pessimistic and unwelcoming service – especially when there was no reason for it. I was simply asking my mom what she wanted to drink, and Pancho responded in a way that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

It’s truly disappointing because I would have loved to enjoy the full experience your restaurant has to offer. With such a great atmosphere and vision behind it, it’s a shame that the service didn’t reflect that same care and quality.

I hope this feedback is helpful, and I sincerely wish you continued success with your business.

Best regards

Good food 😋 👌 driving by stop and enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I wasn't impressed. The food didn't have that 'authentic' flavoring. The portions were generous, so no complaint about that... but the flavors weren't savory enough to finish the portions served.

Overall, it was a big disappointment, I won't be back.

I have been going to the Colimas on Main St. since high school. This is my absolute favorite restaurant. The food is great and the service is fast and just as great. Their menudo is the best out of every restaurant we’ve tried. We eat here at least once a week. They have warm chips with their salsa and pico de gallo if you want. I would definitely recommend this place at our local downtown location.

The chile rellano egg coating was like bread and the whole beans were just put on the plate and went everywhere. They need to be in a bowl. Very disappointing.

The food was great, just upset they charged me full price for a dish that was supposed to have crab on it. They ran out, and still charged me smh. Only reason I haven't gone back.

Absolutely fantastic. We visited on our way to Sequoia National Park from LA, on our holiday from the UK. It was quiet as we only stopped in for breakfast quite early. But what I will say is it’s the best breakfast I’ve had in my time in the U.S. and subjectively Brits do the best breakfasts but this was nothing short of fantastic. I had the bacon and eggs and they tasted like pure quality. Staff were fantastic as well. Visit here you won’t regret it!

The food was alright. Nothing special about it that would make you want to go back. Some of their prices are way out of line. A Molcajete for 48 dollars? Come ? n! Even with Bidenflation it is not justified. I tried the 7 mares seafood soup and it was not great, it was missing some elements that make that soup special. Their salad and chips were the redeeming factor. I would skip if you are a Mexican food conosour or are looking for legit Mexican food.
