Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Visalia

Wait time was 30 months w only two employees working. We paid $65 for three meals and the meats was so fatty, half of it had to be discarded. My husband’s meal was missing his chicken altogether. I was shocked at disappointed at what little portions there were and the poor quality. When we tried to call the store, nobody would answer the phone for hours. Very unprofessional to be unreachable by customers. We never did get thru and had to submit a complaint w our rec’t number to the website. We will NEVER spend another dime in that establishment. Truly disgraceful. 👎🏼

Brandy Mendez works at the Visalia location and needs to mind her business when customers come into this establishment! She goes around telling others who she sees and who there with harassment is a thing at this establishment! Went to have lunch with my significant other and mother and she choose to go and gossip at her prior employment and yes in return one of us had to quit our job due to being harassed because she can not mind her business! It is very disrespectful and I will be talking to an attorney in regards to this matter l've reached out to owners no return call yet I also have emailed corporate in regards to
unprofessional manner to be harassed for just having lunch is not ok! Very
disappointed and I will be sure to go as far as I need to!! As a business owner I would never allow this, discretion is at most in my place of business something this location lacks! This was my original review.

Very friendly and helpful employees clean environment and the food was good. I had ordered online to go and they had it ready fast and the spicy barbecue is really good as well. Online they have good deals with coupons too

What a horrible experience. I paid $25 and received cold food. The Mac n cheese was cold with the pasta stuck together. I had one bite of the pulled pork n spit it out. I noticed that even though I was the first one there, I was the last one to be served. They even refused to refund my money. I've had Dickies delivered at my house and it was still hot by the time it arrived. Terrible food.

Customer service was terrible. Stood in an empty restaurant just to have to workers look right at us and say nothing . They didn't acknowledge us at all. Stood there for some time and then just left.

My family and I went here because we have not been to Dickey's since they closed the one in Tulare. We ordered the brisket sandwich combo and the chicken sandwich combo and the 3 rib combo. All of the food had no taste. The brisket and chicken were dry and if it wasn't for the BBQ sauce, would have been inedible. My wife's ribs were bland and no flavor. The sides had no taste. To top it off the included a tip in my bill that I did not see until I looked at the receipt later. I will definitely not be back.

I’m really disappointed to have to leave a negative review, but this was some of the worst BBQ I have ever had. I have not left a review in years, but I had to leave this.Price: The food was so overpriced, under seasoned, and under whelming. A sandwich meal with (6 inch sandwich) with an extra side was $24.Atmosphere: As soon as I walked in, the smell of dirty mop water was like a smack in the face. It was not the greatest for a restaurant, however I drove far to try to food so I was willing to ignore. Also the menu on the screen was not working, so I had to stand in front of the cashier and look at the menu on my phone.Service: Service was ok. There was only 1 person in the front of house. She was great, and I don’t blame her for being overwhelmed. In the almost 10 minutes it took to place my order and prepare the sandwich herself, a small line formed.Food: The most disappointing BBQ. The baked beans were literally soup. The beans were crunchy and had the consistency of canned beans. The Mac and cheese had absolutely no seasoning. It was a block of cheese and noodles. The pulled pork was so tasteless - not an ounce of charred or smoked flavor. It tasted as if it was boiled by the meat being so tough. Last but not least, the BBQ sauce. It was ok, but for a BBQ shop I’d expect better. For the entire meal i give you 1 miniature sauce container. This shocked me because they don’t put sauce on the sandwich. Why so stingy with BBQ sauce?All in all I will not be back and I truly did not enjoy my meal. I re-seasoned the food the best I could, but it still was not pleasant.If you want good BBQ - I would not recommend this restaurant.

Such a huge disappointment.. this was the first time my family and i ate here and the food was horrible, all the bad reviews seem to say the same thing i agree on which is the food was bad, no flavor, no seasoning and just had an old dry taste to it. The meat was not cooked all the way i had to put it in the oven when i got home and add seasoning to it.. no way should anyone pay good money for food at a restaurant and have to finishing cooking it when they get home! Our fries were covered in oil. The pictures look nothing like the food you actually get. This was the last time my family and i will eat here…

They take forever just to cut up some meat it's not even that hard today the had me on hold 1 hour I went in and from the start to the end 1 hour of 1/2 pound of brisket. Oh my God they are SLOW.
