Food was very mediocre. Hash browns were soaked in grease. I ordered fruit which was 90% green melon and not my favorite. The worst thing was the arrogance and rudeness of the server. They close at 1:30 so if you get there in the last 45 minutes prior to closing be prepared to be ignored and feel rushed. There are several other breakfast/ lunch places in the area to choose from. I wouldn't go back. Note that this hasn't happened just one time. I wouldn't have gone this last time if a friend wanted to go there.

I think all classic diners should be a 4 or higher. Only higher if the food and service are special. Dimples has good basic food. I have the eggs and corned beef hash. Good portions, but the corned beef hash was not the chunky meat type that is so good. So, it's a 4. By the way, one very nice waitress and one kind of grumpy one. I guess that's the charm of the place.

The food is good, however the service is getting bad. Yesterday, my husband and I went, and we had to wait. A few minutes later two men came in , and they were talking about how his daughter knew the waitress. I didn't think anything about it, all of a sudden, she came out, and welcomed them in. We decided to go somewhere else. Today a friend, and I decided to go there. A different waitress came up, and asked if we wanted coffee or water. When she came back with it, I told her we were ready. Her response was I will be back when I am ready. We have gone there for years, and have never been treated like this. We will not be going back. It's too bad when prices go up, service goes down. I have always tipped really well, however, not today.
Loved this place. Great staff and excellent breakfasts. Will certainly return.

It was so fun to take the family here. My granddaughter ate all of food, which is rare.Kid-friendliness: They have crayons and a cute kids menu to color on.
Heard great things about this restaurant so I went in too try it out, the food was great and my server was amazing but I couldn't help but notice my server being verbally yelled at by another server for nothing, she was being rude and abrasive for no reason the management or owner needs to do something about it no place for that kind of treatment at all!!

Good morning Visalia. So I read the reviews on this little gem and I'm a big fan of chicken fried steak but not all places make a good a one. Now this place got it right!! Crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. The gravy was tasty and the hash browns were crispy on the outside and well cooked but not dry on the inside. Our server was super friendly with a beautiful smile and very efficient. This is a really small restaurant and you might even get lucky and get a front row seat to watch the cooks do their magic. A must try!! A suggestion to the owner. The restaurant looks like it could use a deep cleaning in the kitchen especially since patrons are up close view to the cooks.
