Super friendly staff! Its a cozy little diner, makes you feel like your at your abuelas, with Mexican music on the background and fun wall decor. Serves homeade food, I requested chilaquiles, picosos (spicy)... the red sauce was extremely yummy. Authentic Mexican breakfast!! Gracias

This was our first time at El Jardín, Food was amazing I was craving a breakfast burrito but ended up ordering menudo 10/10 my husband ordered chilaquiles and was happy as well! We both said amazing food! Service was great and ambience was also nice. Every time we saw a waitress bring someone a dish I wanted to try it! WE ARE DEFINITELY GOING BACK SOON!!!

Nice place. We tried the Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Carne Asada Plate and the Posole. Food was good. Nice service. Will need to try other food on their menu.

Saw the sheer volume of 5's, so dismissed the very few people who gave the place a 1. Boy, was that a mistake! First, let's talk about the prices. 11 months ago, according to Yelp, the chilaquiles were 9.00. We thought they would be 2 or 3 dollars more expensive. Nope. They were 15.00, about 70% more expensive than 1 year ago. Now, inflation is real, but 70%?? I might have less of a problem if the food was good. It really wasn't. Scrambled eggs were nothing to write home about. Hash browns were the oval shaped patties type you buy at Winco in the freezer section, deep fried and greasy. The bacon was cheap and thin, cooking into a single tight curl. I have never seen anything like it. The toast was 2 slices of the cheapest white bread (no choice of bread here!) Pre-buttered and no jam or jelly. If this meal was 6.99, it would have been OK. Double digit prices, though, should indicate elevated quality. That does not describe this meal. The chilaquiles were dry, almost void of sauce. What sauce there was, was almost flavorless except for heat as you neared the bottom where there was actual evidence that sauce had come into contact with the thin tortilla strips sometime in the distant past. The fact that they charged 15.00 for the chilaquiles is criminal! The ambiance was "value small coffee shop", fine if it really was inexpensive, but unacceptable for a place that charged their prices. The service was acceptable, though I waited so long for our server to come out from the back so I could ask her for some jam for my toast that my toast got cold. I decided to forget it. I am from Visalia and moved to So Cal. Cost of living is high there, but I can tell you that even down in LA, I have NEVER spent so much for a breakfast and gotten so little!

A sad day today! We've been eating here since we moved back to Visalia with no issues. The food here is great and the service is so so. Well today we went in for breakfast and I always order the chilaquiles which is now $15.00 (insane), and the waitress tells me if I want egg it's an extra charge for each egg. I asked if she was serious and she said yes. Well Needless to say we got up and left, never in my life will I pay $15.00 for tortillas with red sauce. By the way the breakfast was a couple dollars cheaper not long ago and it came with eggs. I'm going to miss it.
