This place really went down hill when they tried to get fancy with their burgers, I do not get why so many burger joints want to go all fancy with their burgers... The owners need to stop watching those cooking shows. Glick's use to sell the best simple burgers in town, hands down...meat, cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions. Why was it so good? Because an old fashion burger just require good beef and I believe their burgers were made with chuck steak. Everyone wants to invent the next best burger. " Hey let's through some peanut butter on a chuck steak burger, that would sell." NO!!! Colorado Grill in Fresno has the best burgers. Hamburgers don't need bacon, avocado, bbq sauce and onion rings, or the fool who decided to add an egg...The guy who invited that was hungover or really really high. Sorry 80/20 but 1 Star!
Service is friendly, clean, food is good, basil cream is delicious
Well this place must be closed... They don't answer the phone, been trying for an hour to grab lunch, but no answering machine nothing.
Great breakfast
Great breakfast
Big servings of delicious comfort foods. Everything was cooked just the way we ordered it and we all had plenty of leftovers.
First of all the waitresses were awesome. I can't remember the name .. I think it was Betsy - maybe Barbara. I just know we came to the restaurant on the 3rd of Oct and one waitress turned Us over to the other waitress b/c she was going to work at the church. They both were amazing. The ice they use for the drink .. it's like a crushed slushy Ice!!! Omg! Absolutely loved it.
So honesty session.
1- We were quickly noticed and was offered to sit anywhere we like.
2- Our table was dirty when we sat there but it was quickly cleaned.
3- The food took longer than I expected it to be cooked and our Parmesan garlic fries were barely warm. - not happy about that. You always make the fries after everything else b/c they cook quicker. And the fries had no salt on them. But if the fries were the last to get done - they would have been hot enough to melt the cheese which would have given the fries more flavor and less of a need to have more salt on them.
4- The burger could have had more seasoning on it as well.
I just used the Parmesan Garlic seasoning that was meant for the fries and added them to the burger. That was very tasty.
I will return of course to try breakfast.

Super friendly staff with great knowledge of the menu. Wonderfully intimate setting with a great menu
We loved this place! In town visiting, and wanted a good breakfast. This place delivered! We found the wait staff friendly and attentive. Those spicy potatoes were the bomb.

We missed breakfast which some locals raved about, but we were told by our server burgers are their jam. They weren't cooked to order, they just turned them all out as mediums to medium well which I am not a fan of. They did taste good which is why they get three stars. Our service was very slow but that could be a one time thing so try them out. Nice atmosphere, did a good job decorating, a little chilly though so bring a jacket.
Popped in on a busy Sunday and was lucky enough to snag a seat at the counter. My server was friendly, attentive (but not overly annoying), and knowledgeable about the menu. My meal was delicious and came out hot, so I know it was made fresh to order and not sitting under a heat lamp. This place is half restaurant, half butcher shop from what I can tell. My only reason for 3 stars is that I had several questions about the items in the butcher case and premade things for sale that NO ONE could answer— not even the man who appeared to be the shift leader/manager.As a restaurant, this place is the bomb.Maybe just have someone familiar with the take home cold case items on shift?
First time coming to this establishment, overall a good trip. The setting inside is very comfy, neat, simple and cafe like. The menu was rather small and easy to make a selection from. One thing I noticed was that the menu was a piece of paper that had been reused several times, it looked old, crinkled and also had minor splashes from food, it took away from the restaurants overall feel.We were attended quickly, water was given to us and our order was taken. I think maybe they were under staffed as our table only had two people, and the order took about 40 minutes. I ordered the Portabella mushroom burger. The burger was very good. They did a good job of combining the flavors on thr slaw over the mushroom, great job. I was surprised to see that the burger did not have a patty, the mushroom was the patty. I would reorder this burger again. My wife ordered the "Big Juan", which was a spinoff from thr "Big Jim". I tried the burger and it fell short. The burger was very big in size but did not have much flavor to it and also had a dry mouthfeel.Good experience, gonna go back ti try other items in the menu.
My mom and I went to breakfast there yesterday and the server seemed friendly at first, but after taking our order it took at least 30 minutes for a side of fruit, one biscuit with gravy, a side of bacon and a side of potatoes. I had to ask the manager for our food and she said it'd be another 10 minutes! I asked why, and said I could've cooked it myself in shorter time. She got our food to us and the waiter never came back to check on us. Not even after we finally got our food. He finally came to drop the check, after we asked for it, with not a word of apology, have a nice day, nothing. I am a server of over 20 years and I was appalled at his lack of customer service. I don't know his name, but he had a shaved head. Won't go back.
