The wife and I went for a lunch date and loved it! Xavier served up delicious food and wonderful service. Overall, a great experience. Will be recommending.

Wonderful food, and a lot of it. You definitely won’t go home hungry. Oh, and the Garlic Fried Rice is off the hook!!!

We had an excellent dining experience at Gozen Teppanyaki. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared right at the table. We started with perfectly cooked gyoza and warm, comforting miso soup. For mains, the New York steak and scallops were outstanding — tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection. The fried rice and vegetables complemented the meal wonderfully, making the whole experience satisfying from start to finish. Highly recommend for anyone who loves great food and a fun dining experience.

Walked in and was greeted awkwardly, but was still smiling. Sat down with a lunch menu and regular menu. Thought I’d try “pick 2” lunch menu with salad, fried rice, miso soup, pick1:spicy tuna rolls (four mini pieces) & pick2: tempura veggies
The salad was very low quality. Not rotten lettuce, but lettuce with bug burrow holes. Miso didn’t taste right. Some sort of filler. 1 bite of fried rice because it just wasn’t fried rice. The tempura veggie tempura was nice. The batter was crispy and the vegetables weren’t overcooked. All 4 spicy tuna rolls were the size of 1 actual normal roll. Disappointing in size but at least it was spicy.
I would not order again. Great deal at $22 + tax, but it was $22 of disappointment. I’d rather buy 1 roll for $25 - $30 somewhere else and be happy with the quality. Atmosphere is a bit dark. Clean is usually bright.

We felt welcomed, respected, and satisfied.

Went for the first time food was good but service was pretty bad we were gonna order more sushi even told the waitress but after we got our food a short time later like 10 minutes we got the bill not even how we doing would you like anything else. Probably best to get Togo. Not my best sushi experience prefer Samurai in Hanford

Went here for Father’s Day with our 4 kids and everyone loved it! Food was great and so was the chef.

Came here 2 times so far. Wait time at lunch when they first open was a bit long, I'm guessing they were short staff. We waited about 15 mins for a table alongside 2 other people. Figure if you open there should be tables and servers ready to take customers especially coming in a lunch break.
Anyway service/server (after seating) was good and food was good. Their spicy dumplings are a great appetizer! However, last time I ordered raw oysters and they were good, but not too clean. I grabbed one and it still had mud on the corner of the shell but not in the oysters, improvise and grabbed on the sides to eat. Other than that the server and service was good and so was the food.

I love this place!! Even tho I was forgotten.. Love the teppanyaki.. I go every year on my anniversary and birthday..

We loved going to Gozens in Visalia but today there was a cockroach running across our table while our cook was cooking our teppanyaki. Not sure I can go back.

The food was good and so was the service. My kids loved the fish tanks. Parking was a breeze & seating was comfortable. The flooring looked fresh as well.

Parking: We had plenty of space to park.

Kid-friendliness: Kids wanted to look at the fish tanks around the restaurant, and the staff was personable and friendly.
