My fiancé and I went on a lovely Saturday afternoon and it was so perfect. sat outside and noticed they have heaters. food was amazing! absolutely in love with their roasted potatoes♡ It all really appealed to the senses. service was great and all the staff was so warm and welcoming. We can't wait to get back there!

The service was excellent from the host to the server. Everyone was super friendly. The food needs work. I tried three sliders, and all but one were tasty. The bleu cheese slider was delicious. The coleslaw tasted like a cleaning chemical. Overall, it was a hit or miss. I dug the dipping sauces. I'll check it out again and get the bleu cheeseburger with potatoes and dipping sauces and potatoes. The decor was lacking. It looks like a half-thought-out Chipotle. Like from the entrance, you could see to the kitchen. Where they had a ton of rubbish in plain view. I would give it a good, and you can decide if it is good or not.

What a great place for lunch! The menu is different from the norm. I had the Dragon Lady salad...who would think to put slaw on top of mixed greens? It was so good! He had the Letitia burger and loved it. They don't serve French fries so he did a side salad which was ample. When we return we will definitely do the roasted fingerling potatoes with a couple of dipping sauces. Very friendly staff.

House of bad Juju. Waited 40 minutes for someone to take our order and then waited 45 more minutes to get our food and they weren't busy. I realize there was a large party that "had stragglers", but when the wait staff wouldn't even look at you but helped everyone around you. What's going on? People who got there after us were served and left before we got our food. Not because we were the only people of color there? I hope not. Finally one lead staff helped and offered a free dessert, we declined as we were just ready to never come back. Food was barely warm when we got it.

First time here and I really enjoyed my food. The service was great too. Michael our server suggested the Leticia which was delicious! I had steak as my protein and it was cooked perfect. My husband had the Calamity Jane Burger and he loved it. The restaurant is very clean inside and the staff were all very friendly. Michael our server was very friendly, attentive and made a great suggestion for my dinner. We will definitely be back.

Love this cute little place downtown. Food is yummy. I highly recommend the flat bread with steak. His love the burgers and the sliders. There's a bar, but it's not a bar type. Place more of a dinner place with a bar in it. Service has always been really good. If you haven't gone yet, you should. Get the flavored sangria, you'll thank me.

Happened upon this place while walking around downtown visiting a friend. We are so glad we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures this time, but hopefully my words are enough to show how wonderful everything was. Service was fantastic. I believe that the owner herself was serving everyone (and aside from the chefs/person at the bar), she was the only one helping customers. She did a phenomenal job, was friendly, attentive, cared how we liked our meals and truly did a wonderful job. Simply for the service and beauty of the restaurant it is worth going; the restaurant has such a calm, peaceful vibe. Everything is clean, plenty of seating and it just feels welcoming. But the food was also phenomenal (and, I have to report because she and I were laughing about it, they have the "good ice" (nuggets)). We got fish tacos with a side of clam chowder, the red snapper sandwich with a cup of clam chowder (that was the size of a bowl!), a classic burger, a chili dog, burger in a bowl and the chili topped roasted potatoes (as an appetizer). The food came out presented beautifully, smelled great, was fresh and had great flavor profiles. If you are looking for a fun spot in downtown, with wonderful food and incredible service, you need to check this place out. You won't be disappointed. Also, we had our service dog with us, but generally the patio is dog friendly (huge bonus) and she even gives the pups a little doggie treat.

Was in the area and wanted to do lunch with my best friend. The server who first greeted me was friendly and very helpful. She served me a glass of wine even though she was already pretty busy. I noticed she was attending a party of 4, couple 3 tops and the rest 2s. Shortly after I was greeted by someone else. I wasn’t too sure who she was. I put in a food order with her. I decided to go for the flat bread. All the flavors were there for it, tasted good. Deff a good happy hour item. Just it wasn’t flat. Was a decent thiccc sizeMy friend ordered the clam chowder. It took a while for it to come out. For a minute there I thought the random lady forgot to put it in. She let us know they were trying to thicken it up and it was on its way. The presentation was nice. Flavor was not there though. I didn’t see too much thickness for that wait time. Lacked seasoning and salt. Very bland. But the bread. Super good.Overall Bad JuJu. The bread and nice server made the experience good. Food and random lady.. not so much.
The wifey & I finally made our way over to House of JuJu Visalia. Everything sounded good when it came to the burgers, 6 in all. So, we decided to each order the slider plate which came with your choice of 3 sliders, doing so we got to try all 6 burgers that are offered. This helped us narrow down which one was our favorite, along with trying 2 different sides that were included with the slider plate. Differently will make another visit to order a full burger, after narrowing down our favorite??

This burger was AMAZING! One of the best burgers I've had. The bun was fresh, the ingredients were fresh. The potatoes and house made sauces. Man! I can't say enough about this place and the staff. The hostess, Sasa was great (very helpful and friendly), and the server Michael was very attentive. Great staff and great foooood! 10/10!

I love the whole vibe of this place! It's not what I would call "fancy," but it's not as ordinary as a chain restaurant, either. And the service is top notch! The unique burgers & welcoming personalities are what keep me going back to HoJJ.

Always double check your receipt before paying! Yesterday was the second time I ate there during happy hour and both times I was being charged the regular price instead of the advertised happy hour price. Both times it was the same waitress / server.Also, I visited this spot because I LOVE their Clovis location.But the one here in Visalia is a duller version of it. Unfortunate.Also, for a place that's usually empty on a Saturday, the service here is way slower than it should be in my opinion.The food itself is delicious though.
