What a wonderful surprise in downtown Visalia! Sadly there are very few GOOD options for Indian food in the area but the Hungry Elephant Bar & Grill did not disappoint. I had Butter Chicken and naan for lunch and it was the perfect flavor and spice level for my taste. The server was helpful and attentive. I will definitely go back and try some of their other offerings.

We LOVE this place! The food is so full of flavor and always so fresh! There has never been anything we haven’t liked. They always go above and beyond! They treat us like we are the only people there and always make sure we enjoy our time there. Our kids even love going there because they treat them so well! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!

Tried this Indian restaurant last night in Visalia for the first time. The experience started off frustrating—the waiter had no knowledge of the menu and couldn’t answer a single question. I had to rely on Google just to place my order. Really unprofessional for a first-time guest.
Thankfully, Ali and Rohit stepped in and completely turned things around. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel welcomed. They’re the only reason this is a 4-star review instead of 1
