I just found out about this place this week. I guess they've been hidden back here for a few years. Their carne asada is flavored to perfection and the meat has very little fat. Tacos are best eaten fresh. If you find this place you're gonna love it, guaranteed. And if you like shrimp they have so many shrimp dishes to choose from.

Wow! This place is a gem for seafood lovers. The portions are huge! You’ve been warned. We ordered mojarra frita, a mix plate and caldo de camaron. You’re given tostadas and crackers along with other sauces. The mojarra plate easily feeds 2 people. The mix plate easily feeds 4.

Mariscos El Chaparrito at 15740 Ave 296 in Visalia has some of the freshest mariscos you’ll find on the mainland. The aguachiles are top-tier—clean, fresh, and perfectly spicy just the way they should be. I also tried the Rojo Vivo 🦐🔥 and it did not disappoint. To top it off, we had the Chaparrito #1 seafood tower—absolutely delicious, especially with the salsa negra on top 🔥. This is real Mexican seafood done right.

Food was ok at best, I felt the portion size for the dish I ordered was rather small (only 4 shrimp in the order). My husband ordered a seafood cocktail that was supposed to have shrimp, octopus, imitation crab meat and oysters. He found maybe 1 tiny piece of the oyster.

I love this place! The food is so good! Prices are fair. The environment is chill, they do live music on Sundays a lot of time. Super friendly people run this restaurant. It reminds me so much of being in Mexico, extremely authentic.

I’ve tried several things on their menu and I’ve never been disappointed. The Shrimp cocktail and mango shrimp is excellent and always fresh. What I love about this place is they always give you generous portions so you never leave hungry. The customer service is always great and the place is always very clean. I would highly recommend this place to anyone that wants quality food that tastes great!

If I could give a zero I would... Very rude and food is not the same any more. No flavor. I'm not sure what's going on with this place.. back few years ago it was good but now it's just plain garbage and pricey. Save your money and don't come eat here

Usually, just come for the ceviche, which is enough for 2 people. The bacon wrapped shrimp is really good.

Ordered a tostada de shrimp and another one with fish and my it was very delicious it went well with a michelada mix you will not be disappointed I can’t wait to try more of the menu ?????????
