The prices are excessive and the quality is lacking. I purchased a cookie for $1.50, which was acceptable. However, the cupcake I bought for $5.00 was hard and dry. I would advise against spending your money here. Additionally, the staff member at the front did not acknowledge my presence until he finished his cell phone call.
I ordered my birthday cake from here and they did an amazing job. Service was awesome he even brought it to my truck for me. ❤️❤️❤️
Sad that this place has went down hill. I bought 5 different items today and 4 out of 5 were stale. Threw away $50. Should’ve just went to Save Mart.

The original chocolate chip cookies are out of this world, the cinnamon rolled and brownies are immaculate. Max’s cakes are absolutely stunning, he truly has an eye for details, I’d recommend everyone to stop by Max’s at least once.

Cookies were outstanding. Brownies were impeccable. The owner once saved me from a burning building, I’ll forever be eternally grateful. God bless that man and the angels who grace his kitchen.

Easily the best cookies I’ve ever had, i’ve never had a cookie as good as theirs(try the snickerdoodle) …thank you Max for your cookies!! ?
Oh my gosh, by far the best cookies in Visalia and everybody I know agrees with me.
Waste of time and taste buds on a dry, stale and flavor lacking cupcake. It’s like they’re not even trying.
Are they kidding? Is it a front for a reality show?

Rarely buy cookies, I am a baker myself. But figured what the heck. $1.50 for ONE cookie, and it was easily the worst chocolate thumbprint cookie that I have ever taken a bite out of. And then a second bite because I couldn't believe how bad the first one was.

Cookies were subpar. Seems like it’s a local thing, obviously these people haven’t been outside of the city.
Max treats his customers horrible, very snobby and rude. His pastries are over priced, and he is not welcoming at all. No customer service skills. And the guy workers in the front are lazy as well just standing around and talking.
You guys should update the business hours on Google. We came from Hanford thinking you were open until 630 came to the door to see a close sign.
