Parking: Not a huge selection of parking on the main street. Maybe front of the restaurant might have it.Wheelchair accessibility: Has it, easy access.

I was hungry for Chinese and decided to give this restaurant a try. It's located right on the corner of Noble and Linwood (4 way stop light here). It can be a little confusing since there is a Mexican restaurant there also. The Mexican restaurant appeared to be out of business. The entrance and parking for the Chinese restaurant is on the Linwood side. The stop light makes it easy to get in and out of the parking lot. I ordered the beef with tomatoes and vegetables fried rice. Both were huge servings, I will get 3 meals out of my order. The beef with tomato was perfectly seasoned and had perfect proportions of beef to tomatoes. The veggies in the fried rice were perfectly cooked. Not overcooked or undercooked. Great variety of veggies in the rice. It doesn't look very inviting from the outside but don't let that stop you from giving this place a try. Their hospitality and food are well worth the stop. Give them a try, I'll be back!

Lol I like the food I've been here quite a few times. The last time I brought my family and the owners/employees sat in the middle of the room and were just loudly arguing with each other. Ignoring our table.

Here's the truth, the Central Valley, especially Tulare Co. has some of the best Chinese restaurants in the entire state. Yes, including in Chinatown's (LA or SF) bland tourism food. This spot is just another example of what makes Chinese food in this area so special. It's called BIG FAVORS! OMG, I have to say the egg food young is the best I've ever had (PERIOD). We love the pork chow fun, salt pepper chicken, or shrimp. The Mongolian Beef is out of this world as well. Also, you're eating 2 minutes after you sit, terrific service! Clean, clean, clean, too.

First time dining here. The Wor WonTon was just okay for us. The broth flavor was dominated by soy sauce but the vegetables and wontons along with the chicken and pork chashu was good. The Seared Pot Stickers with dipping sauce, Hong Kong Style Chow Mein and the Salt and Pepper Fish was really good and tasty. Hot tea helped settle the food. Happy stomachs!!! Lots of left overs for take home. Can’t wait to try the other food options. ?

Best Chinese food in Visalia . This is our go to place for Chinese food. The prices have gone up a little but definitely worth the price

I walked into this smorgy board (I'm bri kind here) and immediately my kids hated me for taking them out to dinner! The smell alone from the crawfish mixed with other seafood smells gets you right at the door! Ya better check the smell out before you decide to belly up to the bar!!

What a pleasant surprise, I have driven by this place hundreds of times and never thought about going in this place; wow! The service was quick, and ambiance was nice, patrons would come in and mostly do take out. The food selection was awesome, literally something for everyone and everything we tried was delicious! Please make this the next stop you make when you are craving Chinese cuisine!

I have been a customer of New Star for about 6 years. Decent place; kind of the same as all the Chinese places in town. No one distinguished themselves. My last outing for takeout gave me a stomach ache. I always get enough for the next day. So, sick for three days. Not bad sick, but something was off in the taste of one item. I note their Health Score is in the 80s. Anyway, all things come to an end, especially Chinese restaurants where I go. I would certainly recommend giving them a try. I lasted 6 years

Fast friendly service, family run business, I like that the food is not heavy salted, affordable quality Asian food

Decided to give this place a chance. Despite the area and outside appearance, the food was pretty good. It had a clean healthy taste to it, not in a way that you get with fast food or cheaply made takeout. The staff were friendly and the food was made quickly (came out piping hot). I'm excited to go back and try their other options. Dress lightly as it does tend to be on the warmer side.

Love New Star! I have been eating here since 2005. You can't go wrong here. Easy to find parking and quick to get seated and served.
