Rare Tea is an amazing establishment. I come here quite often it is in my humble opinion the best bubble tea shop in town. I enjoy most of their milk teas and a couple of their smoothies are also very good. The amount of ice and boba in each drink are good. The boba is cooked exceptionally well and the drink selection is great. I would highly recommend this place for their milk teas specifically. Good place, fair price, friendly workers.

First time coming to Raretea. I've heard a lot of good things about this place so my expectations were set high. The young girl that helped me at the register had bad communication skills as well as poor customer service. She didn't even ask me what sweetness level/ice amount I wanted I guess she just assumed. Even though on the menu it gives you options of ice and sweetness level. As she was making drinks and taking peoples orders she wasn't being sanitary by washing her hands. The drinks here are over priced compared to every where else. The boba was okay as well as the drinks. Environment was not very welcoming. I will be letting my friends and family know about the poor service.

I was next door at the Verizon store and noticed this place. Boba was great. I recommend the brown sugar boba with Thai tea. Well priced. Nice ambience. This place and poki point on the south side of the parking lot have the best boba in Visalia I think. The service was fast and professional

Super kind employees, Clean environment, amazing tasting drinks, and in my opinion.. better than gong cha.I came here at 8:30, 30 minutes before they closed. I had my card turned off just in case and I forgot to turn it back on so I could pay. When I paid, it declined ?‍♂️ but who I assume is the owner, he decided pay it for me. I was honestly eager to pay for it because I felt like it should've gone to someone more deserving, someone who couldn't pay. But I really appreciate it. I don't expect this every time whatsoever. Definitely returning more.

Good boba spot in the area if you're looking for some boba! The drinks here weren't overly sweet! We ordered the Lychee Milk Tea Smootea, Mango Green Tea, and Taro Smoothie. Usually every place that has Taro Smoothie makes it too sweet, but this spot makes it perfect! Mango Green Tea has the perfect amount of mango in it as well! I think this spot is unique because I never heard of a Lychee Milk Tea in smoothie form!

Rare tea was a must-try during our weekend getaway after some crazy hikes (at which both of my legs basically fell off my body). I ordered the Kiwi Aiyu Jelly Tea and it was just ok! The tea flavor is nice and fragrant - without being overwhelmingly strong. There is one big blob of aiyu jelly that was hard to maneuver my straw to because it kept slipping away. And unfortunately, kiwis must not be in season because they put the most unripe, crunchy, astringent-tasting kiwi I've ever had in my drink. I almost thought they accidentally put in watermelon rinds or grape peels by accident. At "less sweet", the drink was perfectly sweetened; and at "less iced", I also thought there was the perfect amount of ice. They have one gender-neutral bathroom, plenty of tables, free parking, and many drink options (vegan, non-caffeinated, non-dairy, etc).

I was so excited when the they first open. Because I tried Raretea somewhere and really like it. My favorite one is taro milk tea with crystals boba and brown sugar boba. I had jasmine milk tea some time with the same topping. My drink always around $7.50 - $8.25 The drink pretty good when they first open but not now, it go down a lot. I don’t know why they change the quality drinks so bad. I had taro milk tea with no tea taste, no taro taste, it totally different I had before. This is not the first time I disappointed about my drink, more than one time I talked with them without remake my drink, but now I have to write the review, wishing they bring back my drink.

A friend of mine bought me a Boba tea from here, and ever since I come often. Ladies are very professional and kind. They have met my expeditions every time I come. I enjoy the brown sugar, but have had the Taro too. Give it a try.Ps. I like the fact that they make sure I’m aware of the ingredients due to allergies.
