This is disappointing. This used to be my favorite taco truck. There was a goat head in one of the burritos I purchased. I called them and explained what I found, then agreed to bring it back and show them. After they inspected it for a bit, they said it was a seasoning pod.
After doing more research there’s no seasoning pod that looks like a goat head. In fact, I found out this happens sometimes when whole beans are farmed, goat heads can be found in the dry bean batches.
They only offered to remake the burrito after I showed them the goat head. I called back to let them know to check the rest of their beans for other customers but they just put me on hold and never picked up again.
Super disappointing

While in Visalia and stuck at a hotel without no transportation I found this little gem across the street at an Arco station. As a new normal of gas stations with attached restaurants I was happy to find Tacos San Marcos. I really was planning on another cuisine, but from what I saw of the menu I decided to give them a try. Now I've never seen a Birria Ramen before and was intrigued but what I was for sure going to order was the Quesatacos. I like the idea of the melted cheese on the tortilla idea as I have had similar before. So, I ordered the Quesachicken and the Birria Ramen with a side of guac and chips. I began with the Quesachicken as the Birria Ramen was a bit hot. In theory this taco had all the making of one that I would enjoy, but didn't quite get there for me. I felt with the two tortillas the rest of the ingredients got lost. In addition the Chicken was a bit sparse. If I were to order again I would ask for only one tortilla. As for the Birria Ramen the portion is generous. I wish there were more fresh ingredients along with the ramen which makes it a one hit and done. The Birria liquid had lots of flavor but I had to hunt for the meat which was cooked down to very small bits. If there had been larger chunks of the meat along with the ramen it would be far more enjoyable. The Guacamole was good made primarily of Avocados without fillers like tomatoes but I was taken back by the chips as they were quite brown, however the taste and texture was just fine. Of note the staff, a pleasant and engaging young lady, was one of the best counter staff that I have experienced ever! Good on you girl! Though Tacos San Marcos wasn't a home run in my book, I'm not saying I won't try them again. There's plenty on the menu to please any Mexican food enthusiast and I would definitely give them a shot.

Yesterday I went on my lunch break for a burrito, when i got back to work I was very disappointed. The burrito barely had asada and it was mostly tortilla. I was very dissatisfied especially since it came out to $17 with an agua.
The food is always delicious!

Visalia Mall location. We ordered a burrito bowl with extra meat and tacos, but were really disappointed with how empty the bowl was and how little meat was in the tacos. When we called the store, we were left on hold for 15 minutes and had to call back ourselves. Eventually, they said they could only refund the cost of the extra meat in the bowl. We explained that the tacos also had very little meat, but they still refused to do more. There was no apology or effort to make the situation right. Overall, very disappointing experience.

They us to good, not any more I order san Marcos burrito and try to find the met, just rice and beans
Food was okay. Girl who took my order got it wrong. Then when I went up to get my order remade she argued with me about reading the menu wrong and told me not to give her attitude. It was so unnecessary all I wanted was the correct order.

If you want to spend $15 for beans and rice wrapped in a tortilla with a couple little pieces of asada sprinkled in, this is your spot! I even paid extra for shrimp 🙄

It's too bad their opening operations around the valley. We frequented their food trucks until one day after eating their shrimp tacos, my fiancé and I got got so sick after 20 minutes which is a characteristic of food poisoning. Instead of sending them an email which they never responded, I should have contacted the Department of Health.
