This has been a local go-to spot for me and my partner for years. Not one of those that order premade from Sysco, it’s all in house. Today there was a guy who wasn’t very friendly BUT we were helped by the friendliest beertender; she recommended the sandwiches next time. Usually we come for the [Thai] wings, beer and and occasional pizza!

We had such a great experience at The Planing Mill! We came here for dinner on 11/7/25. Our waitress Ashley went above and beyond for us — she’s been our server before on another occasion and once again was absolutely amazing. She was so friendly, quick, and attentive the entire time. She made sure our drinks were always full, went over the specials with us, and recommended we try the Los Pollo Hermanos appetizer and the Little Nicky pizza — both were delicious! We also got the Fat Andy, and everything was cooked perfectly.
Ashley even helped us pick out beers and gave us great suggestions. Despite being super busy with other tables, she checked on us often and made sure we were comfortable. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but she kept us updated and was so kind and apologetic about it. The food was amazing, and the service from Ashley was even better.
We’ll definitely be back soon!

Fantastic pizza served in a great atmosphere. The beer selection is great with 21 selections on tap and more available in cans. The wings are delicious and have many different flavors to choose from. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. It is a great addition to Downtown Visalia and it is a great place to visit weather for lunch or dinner. Thebrewards points for purchases also is a fun incentive.

Had been here several times, but never on a weekend before and always had a good experience. Awesome tap selection, pizza is great. Super noisy inside so opted for outside seats. Food took a lot longer than weekday visits and we probably had a new server but will definitely be back.

I had a great experience while having lunch at this restaurant and was given amazing service from our waitress ashley, Ashley recommended that we try the buffalo bombs from the August specials menu and in addition to that we also ordered the mac and cheese skillet, Both dishes were absolutely delicious, Ashley was very attentive which made our experience even better, I will definitely be returning in the future.
