Good food and dining experience, save for exceptions, given that some people and their newborn children were dining in the same area that I would be, using the flat screen for preschool media on YouTube.
Preschool media and I do not mix, and it's one of the causes for my anxieties. I felt very uncomfortable mentally, and I sort of, but not really, got the impression that I was at a daycare place instead of a diner. I really don't want history repeating itself.
The fact that there are password-protected Wi-Fi networks for the restaurant showing up on my iPhone is not helping. I could barely access my YouTube app and look at videos to drown so much out.
Aside from that, there have been other unique dining experiences here, and I'm willing to recommend it. I just needed to get that negative experience off my chest. I'm sharing it with my therapist as well.

Just what you'd think...giant biscuits, big omelettes, giant everything. The whole town clamors to get into this place. Tasty, good value food, great service. (I'd split a dish!)

My out-of-town friend and I enjoyed a Black Bear lunch today. She remembered when she used to get the cheeseburger salad, but it was not on the menu anymore. The server said, no problem, they would make her one. I ordered the Taco Salad, one of my favorites there. Both salads were huge and wonderful! You can't go wrong with Black Bear's.

Very pleasant Mood in the restaurant, good food!!! And above all pleasant service. Air conditioning that was well adjusted, so you could really enjoy the food at ease. French fries were slightly limp and lukewarm; but otherwise enjoyed!!! Portions are so generous, you can hardly eat it. More than value for money.

Ordered a bear comb with pancakes. The pancakes were cold when brought to table and they tasted like they were mixed with onion powder. The tall hispanic man in back kept coming out yelling at the waitress loud about better have charged the customer for the add on there food. He was very unprofessional and should not have said that in front of a packed crowd.He further, yelled at another waitress because she took an order for soup and he change iT to tomato bisque and didnt tell her. It was a very unpleasant atmosphere. Could not wait to get out of there. Won’t be going back and listen to other tables say cook/manager or whatever he was had very poor team skills.
1st visit here and immediately in love. You're welcomed by the fridge full of desserts. Leaving you want to skip food altogether and get right to dessert.
Employees were super nice and quick to seat and take our order.
I love a place that does freshly squeezed OJ so that is immediate browning points. The breakfast bowl with mama bear sauce is a great combo.
Will be making this our regular breakfast place.

We had been driving since 6 am and stopped here for brunch. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean. Our waitress was pleasant, and our food was excellent. We had never eaten at a Black Bear Diner but highly recommend it as an awesome place to eat.
