117⁰ West Spirits Speakeasy

We went here for some cocktails and were blown away by the quality and flavors of this awesome place. We had the Abuelita (Mexican Chocolate) old fashioned and the Shovel Head (tobacco butters and smoked glass) old fashioned and there is no substitute here in North County. Please check them out. They’re great.

I highly recommend this cozy little local whiskey bar off of La Mirada in Vista. Delicious whiskey made in San Diego? A resounding yes! Justin and his team are elevating the aged spirit game in Vista and I'm here for it. If you'd like something a little noisier and lively, check out the new CoLab location just off the Sycamore exit. Say the wife wants a glass of wine but you want a bourbon...options.

117 West is one the finest hidden gems in Vista, or north county, for that matter. Justin makes the most incredible spirits and the tasting room is a must visit!

Great place, very comfortable, but you can only have one drink there, california laws. They have excellent spirits, great customer service. Highly recommended their whiskey.

Probably the best old fashioned I've ever had! Not even kidding. The bartender was also very friendly. Right now space is tight but I hear they'll sort of be expanding next door. Absolutely recommend a visit to this place ?

They have a wide range of spirits and cocktails. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and spending time with friends there. I picked up a their Gin that is barrel aged with notes of honey; it’s fantastic. Also, the owner is a really nice guy, very friendly. I will definitely stop back here in the near future.

Justin was a wonderful host! We had a tour and explanation of all the products they produce. We were visiting from PA, our friend from Vista became a member. Highly recommend this establishment for the atmosphere as well as the libations.

Absolutely amazing spirits, the rum is amazing.

Superb spirits! The rye is just lovely with a soft feel and smooth finish. The gin is a great classic and they have an aged gin that has lovely caramel and vanilla notes. Be prepared, they can only serve 1.5 ounces per person so you can definitely fit it into your booze crawl down this street full of joy!
