We used to go to this B&R when we lived in Vista and the owner was always nice, appreciative for our business and seemed very involved. When we moved, I needed an ice cream cake for my son’s birthday. I was going to use the B&R near our new house, but noticed it had bad reviews about messing up cake orders. So, I decided to order from this B&R (even though it was now much further away from us) because I knew I could trust them to get it right. And they did! The cake...

It's all about the pistachio almond ice cream for me. How do you make it better? You turn it into a Banana Royale. This totally satisfied my sweet tooth cravings, and once a month is all I allow for myself to go decadent.

Service was good, ice cream was great. The chocolate waffle cone definitely needed work tho .... It was flat-tasting and thin, like they made the batter too thin.... Didn't taste fresh and what I expected (I've had them at other places). Even the top was uneven like there wasn't enough batter to get it to set right. And the wrapper had stuck to one side, I had to moisten it to scrape it off.
