We recently visited Connie's for breakfast, and while the food was pretty good, I have to say I was more drawn to the lunch menu! The staff were super kind and accommodating when I asked to order from the lunch menu instead. My husband and I enjoyed the mushrooms burger and tuna melt. The shop itself was small but cozy, and the staff's friendly service added to the warm atmosphere.

Connie was absolutely rude to my family and I. We are from out of town. We started to walk in and my brother was told to get out of her way and wait outside. She then said it’s gonna be a wait, and gave us the side eye as she walked by. She was rude, and not a good business owner. We actually are all bartenders and servers. We like to tip and show appreciation so we are so surprised to be treated this way. Shame on that place. Hope she gets her attitude together. When we come back to San Diego, we won’t be back there for sure.
