A nice “hidden jewel”. My daughter lives nearby and she introduced us to it. The owner is a great hostess and does a lot of the cooking herself. We had Lulu’s Benedict and the Apple Pie French Toast. Excellent!
My husband and I used to live around the area, and the amount of times he mentions how much he misses Connie and her food drives me crazy. But I also always agree.
Now that we’re visiting California, we had to prioritize our favorite spot.
If you’re looking for a welcoming/relaxing vibe, then definitely have breakfast here. My husband always gets the biscuits and gravy, and I get the apple pie French toast. They’re to die for!

Great food, great prices, no nonsense. Also no alcoholic beverages but let's be honest, you can go one meal without booze 😉 If you play your cards right you might even get a free cookie 🍪 Looking forward to our next visit!
