Fast friendly service. The food is always good and fresh. (I have a very big appetite, so I'd like to see larger portions, but for most people the portions are just fine.) Staff is friendly. Our server checked on us frequently. The food prices have gone up considerably since Covid--$17.00 for an omelette.
If you get there before 10:00 am you can take advantage of their early bird pricing.

This is a favorite of my in-laws. They are there pretty much every week. My dad-in-low loves the cinnamon roll and my nephews and nieces can't get enough of the french toast and pancakes/waffles.

It's not food that will blow your mind but if you just want easy every day food it's definitely an option. Plus is that the staff are friendly and accommodating.

Life long Vista resident. First time and probably last time curbside cafe customer.
Customer service was friendly but food wasn't good. Potatoes were plain and burnt, country fried stake was dry and overcooked and the supposed #1 cinnamon roll in Vista wasn't even a cinnamon roll. It was a cake, with pecans and a scoop of butter on top. It wasn't sweet nor did it have frosting anywhere. =(
Add to that, they pre-calculated an 18% tip after tax, wrapping up a bummer of a family breakfast experience.
I'm all for supporting local mom and pop places, but it's hard justifying going back. Sorry.
