Very good selection of pasteries. Delicious. We have returned twice now.
Stay away from this bakery. I was disappointed when I returned to this once amazing bakery. It’s used to be great and have such a peaceful and pleasant atmosphere. I’d would now rather buy a cake from Albertsons or even Gonzales market they at least would care about how it looks. We ordered a cake but were disappointed in how it looks and it’s too late to buy another one from a different location. The strawberries are the saddest looking strawberries ever. I don’t understand how they can justify the price they charge for a cake. I don’t mind paying for something that is well baked and decorated amazingly but this cake is not worth it. It rather make a cake at least I would make it with love and care in mind.
The variety of pastries are great. For the most part I’ve had good experiences here when I get cakes for family parties. The last time I got a cake for my mom’s birthday the penmanship was terrible. The gentleman that assisted me had closed the box before I could look at it. So I noticed the terrible writing after I got home. Just be mindful so you don’t make the same mistake and take a look at the writing before you leave.
Great customer service. They have a variety of pastries and drinks as well.

The éclair: choux was incredibly stale, almost tasted moldy (possibly had been previously frozen). The creme pat was sour and had a thick, unpleasant texture (possibly overcooked)
Nutella almond turnover: The flavor of the filling was OK, nothing special, and fit the title. Puff pastry was completely raw under the 3rd or 4th layer.
They put both in a box that was way too small for them.
I did not finish eating either. If I had dined in, I would have asked for a refund.
Needles to say this was a waste of nearly $10
Won't be going back

Did not see all the negative reviews before visiting and honestly, do not understand the reason behind them. Beautiful, delicious pastries, great, friendly staff, all at quite affordable prices. Everything was super fresh. They also make custom cakes. Espresso based coffee was great. Don’t skip on their raspberry tart-it’s amazing!

Found a couple apple seeds in my apple tart. Called the store and they offered to have me come back in to replace it, rather than offering to refund the item. Employee said “I don’t see any seeds on the ones currently in the display case.” ? I should not have to waste more of my time to fix your mistake. I’ll keep my business at the Carlsbad French pastry cafe instead, much higher quality food and service.
The best croissants anywhere!

Purchased a creme puff, bread pudding, and the quiche and they were all wonderful. The creme puff was not overly sweet, had a great texture, and had a lovely buttery Choux. The bread pudding was good with a balance of sweet and crunchiness from the glaze on top but a little soggy towards the bottom. The Lorraine quiche was fantastic. Wonderful flavor and a great crust.

Nice place to have breakfast. Lots of homemade bakery products. Prices are better than other places around it, so visit and enjoy.

The breakfast sandwiches were good but so small that it only took a couple of bites to finish the whole thing. Very expensive for the portion of food. I thought someone was playing a joke on me when I first opened my box and saw a little cute breakfast croissant.
