Went there at 8 pm on a Friday. The place was closed, the light turned off
Went to Indian Joe's last night to meet 15 friends at 4:30. Woman working there said they are closed indefinitely. Explains why no one answers the phone and website hasn't been updated for quite awhile. You would think they would at least update the fact their closed for the public. A shame was a nice place.
They closed their doors for good 2 weeks ago.
Friendly and comfortable environment, Great staff cold brew, I will definitely be returning!
A great space. with plenty of room and many imaginative touches. The theme includes a healthy dose of Mexicana. Interesting beers. some of which are yruly outstanding. The pumpkin ale, rimmed with cinnamon and brown sugar. is a must-try. The Jamaica -- as in the Mexican drink, not the island -- Sweet Tart, is a great twist on sour beer, and not overdone. A big selection, great service, and no crowd if you get there early, round out the reasons you should be on your way there now.
Great brewery with live music on a Friday night ! Blueberry Hazy was great.
Good selection of beer and food trucks! It's always nice to be able to get food while you enjoy your beer. :)
Probably one of the best breweries I've been too yet. I would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.

One of the friendliest places in San Diego. Never miss it when I visit from Ohio

For many North County commuters, it is safe to assume some aspect of your morning and afternoon commute involves traveling along State Route 78. And generally, these 8 lanes of traffic, brake lights, and road rage can seem pretty monotonous Monday through Friday. But the evil Mr. Hyde of a freeway does have its Dr. Jekyll, known to locals and visitors as “Hops Highway.” A visual example providing namesake for this title lies between the Sycamore Ave. and Mar Vista Dr. exits: Indian Joe Brewing. This shining beacon beckons commuters to make a detour and stop in for respite from the stop and go. The most intriguing aspect at the brewery is the fact that they offer 30 different taps of Indian Joe beers. We tried Only Guav Can Judge Me (Guava and Grapefruit Gose, 6.2%), Luiseno Summer Pale (Pale Ale, 6.0%), Indian Joe Rita (Gose aged in tequila barrels, 6.2%), the Blueberry Sour (Golden Sour, 6.2%), Blueberry-Plum-Ginger Sour (Sour Ale, 6.5%), and the Imperial Red Sour with blackberries and black currants (Imperial Sour, 10.5%). The sours I sampled were all really tasty, with a wide range of fruit filled offerings and varying alcohol contents. My favorite was the Blueberry-Plum-Ginger Sour. The right amount of sour competes with the spiciness of the ginger and the sweetness of the fruit, with the clear-cut winner being: the drinker. The Imperial Red Sour was a delicious, in your face beer.
Fun decor and decent drinks. They can widen their selections of types. I'm getting sick of these nothing but IPA s... Like don't people like flavor? Or only bitter, dry out your insides IPA. They could use a strong Belgian, as most breweries should always have in their arsenal. But cool location and comfy vibe.
Love the variety that they have. The staff is awesome. I highly recommend this joint if you want to grab a quick bite & a cold one.
Went here with my dad and sister for my birthday, was a most excellent experience. My dad enjoyed the live music, my sister enjoyed the beer and her food from Full Metal Burger, and I thoroughly enjoyed it all. It's nice hidden gem. I was relaxing away upstairs and enjoying my flight. I have to say one of the features that attracted me to Indian Joe's, it is Native owned. This Indian will sure as hell be back again.
I've been here a couple times now with friends. They have a nice upper bar area, with live music and seating, as well as an outdoor patio and the downstairs bar area. Their different craft beers are excellent, and they have a food truck by the patio, at least on the weekends. Nice, friendly, clean atmosphere.
