You know the food is going to be good the moment you step in the door. Don't come if you want a super fancy atmosphere. Absolutely come if you want to eat great food for great prices.

I like the food but it is lacking in cleanliness. I crave the food but always had eat it with a lot of hesitation. 2 years ago they were closed down by the health dept for “vermin infestation”. Someone posted a picture of the notice on their window on google review. You can look for it yourself. I hope they improve their cleanliness because I would love to come back and eat here more

It was Awsome!!! Loved being there, loved the food, and I even felt good after eating the food. Usually have a pretty sensitive stomach but their food was no problem I hope they get more amazing customers who will enjoy their food as much as I did

Did something recently change here? The take out we just got was kind of gross. Could be an off night, but some of the recent reviews from around the web have me doubting.

I got the dan dan noodles. They were not good...not what authentic dan dan noodles should look or taste like espeicially throwing all those unnecessary carrots in it. The rice was super dry. Only good thing was the canned sprite. Never found a good Chinese food spot in SD.. the streak lives on.

The Garibaldi fish are not doing well in the tank… please get rid of the tank or put them back in the ocean.
Sorry now that I got that over with, I have to say this place has some of the best & most consistent food I have had! Sooo delicious. Service is a little slow or sometimes not as attentive as I’d appreciate but STILL My FAVORITE NORTH COUNTY CHINESE spot.

But please get rid of that gross fish tank PLEASE

The place is legitimately one of the dirtiest restaurants I have ever seen. The food is nice - but the bathrooms have flies and are don’t look like they are cleaned regularly.

The kitchen has grease everywhere and high pile of dirty dishes.

The fish tank is has finger prints that show the age of the last time it was clean.

Food good - but I don’t trust this place to be clean!!!

Food safety and cleanliness over food quality!

It was absolutely delicious. I ate way too much because it was so amazingly good. We got the Taiwanese fried chicken which was incredible on its own but came with this sweet and sour sauce that put it completely over the top. The pork rib noodle bowl we got was also wonderful. The meat was so tender and all the noodles and veggies were full of flavor.

Scallion Pancake is my favorite thing. Tastes like they make the noodles and dumpling dough in-house. Great food with great prices for the large portions.

My personal recommendation is to save your money. I was excited for this place because it had some good review. BUT the food isn’t great. Beef and seafood soup were tasteless. Dan Dan Noodles and Chow Mein were average. Not a very clean place either.

My personal comfort restaurant.

The food is always excellent and we have never had a bad experience.

Everything is handmade with love, and it shows.

Our personal favorites are;
Shumai (when available, they are on the special menu, which does change)
Braised pork ribs noodle
Xaio Long Bao (Soup dumplings)
Tomato egg noodle
Beef roll

Do NOT skip the house hot sauce, vinegar, and soy sauce that are on the table, free of charge

They enhance nearly everything, so definitely experiment with what combinations you like best

Atm they take cash and a few select app based payments only, so be aware, but it's not really an issue so long as you come prepared
