Food is disgusting nothing taste like it's supposed to taste simple as that the cream cheese wonton isn't cream cheese wonton it was like coleslaw sauce with onions it was nasty and it's really a zero star.. I don't see how the hell it's in business period.

Idk what happened to this place maybe the good chef left. It taste like microwave Chinese food...I should have just bought frozen packs from Walmart. This place used to be the best Chinese food in all of North country SD now it's the worst I'd rather go to pan pan walk and I sat there for 20 min for the lady to pack my food she's sweet she's the only good thing about this place

Tonight my wife and I were craving good Chinese Food and we didn't know where to go so we decided to check out Lucky's Chinese kitchen here in Vista as we've never been there before.
My first impression when we walked in was, This place is dead must not be a lot of people that like it and it was going to be just like any ordinary Chinese steam table kind of food, tasteless, plain and old. however we proceeded to order a three entree plate, beef & broccoli, Kung Pao chicken and spicy shrimp with half chow mein and half rice. They were out of chow mein and the young lady said they're cooking a fresh batch and it will be out soon.
The young lady behind the counter proceeded to make our entree plates and when she was finished the chow mein came out, she loaded the chow mein on our plates and we sat down to eat.
To our surprise the food was very tasty, I was amazed. It even tasted better than Panda Express and I looked at my wife and said this was a great choice. As we continue to eat more people started coming in and we knew that this place had a pretty good following. I looked over to the steam table and they we're just bringing in a new batch of chow mein, that's how fast the batch went and how popular chow mein is. Everything on that steam table look fresh as all the vegetables were crunchy and had great flavor.
I told my wife, this is my go-to Chinese Restaurant place as the food was excellent, the price was very reasonable and the quantity of food was perfect.
Thank you Lucky Chinese kitchen for a great dinner experience....!

Go here instead of Panda Express! Food is very affordable, staff is kind and friendly, serving sizes are insane—they keep piling food onto your plate. Both the restaurant, tables, and bathrooms are very well maintained and clean. All the food was delicious and we had enough to take home for dinner later. Highly recommended!!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a slope on the sidewalk to the left of entrance next to accessible parking. Doors are spacious and seating has spacing between for those in a chair or using a cane.

Ordered a 2-item combo with the new vegetarian dish (braised Mushroom Tofu) and broccoli beef. The vegetarian mushroom tofu is a new dish, it was amazingly flavorful with lots of vegetables. The owner gave their new chili oil to try! The chili oil with crisps is well seasoned and but not overly seasoned. Spicy level is around 7-8 level. It enlightens the entire box. Love it. Will sure come back again.
