This is my favorite ramen. I loved it when I was in Escondido. I was so glad they built one closer. I just wish they delivered.

The food is very reasonably priced. I like to go and dine in and watch the videos in the back room. They're very very respectful when it comes to allergies with food. I have a bad tummy and this food soothes it.

We stopped in here on a recent visit to Vista for a family wedding. Being Seattle area natives, we have a pretty wide array of experiences with Japanese restaurants, and Mirin did not disappoint. The food was amazingly delicious, the service top notch and the restaurant is clean, well lit and modern. My son, who has been to Japan, said that the udon was very authentic. I got the teriyaki chicken, served with the spicy sauce upgrade, and when it arrived I initially thought they'd forgotten, because the sauce didn't look spicy at all, but whatever spice they used was highly effective and by the end of my meal, I was sweating and smiling. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and we're pretty spoiled for delicious teriyaki up where we live, so this place is legit. Definitely recommend it you're in the area and looking for authentic Japanese cuisine.

I want to start off this review with a shout-out to our server, Briana. Attentive, friendly, called out special features to the menu, recommended a visit to their sister restaurant in Escondido, and the service of each dish was quick. Briana is the reason for 5 stars.
Now, onto the food. Options were very nice, something for everyone. My dinner date is a finicky eater, and every time I suggest sushi for dinner, queue the dramatics. LOL! But, my dinner date not only found SEVERAL options that were non sushi, but he actually had a tough time choosing! He landed on the pepper steak salad, and I had the lemon salmon roll. Our starters were garlic edamame and cucumber salad. A few flakes of sea salt would have gone a long way on the edamame. Cucumber salad was perfectly dressed and not overly vinegary. My roll was fresh and delicious. The steak salad was nicely seasoned and melt in your mouth tender.
The restaurant is exceptionally clean and nicely decorated. There's a large screen TV in the back dining room with Japanese food shows playing. We loved this. The music playlist was very nice and set at a good volume for conversation. We will be back!!

I had a horrible day yesterday. Nothing went right. The only thing that went well was my lunch at Mirin Kitchen. Sometimes it is the little things in life, but my sushi was a light on a very dark day.

The food had hair in it for one, for two the service was slow and, three the management here sucks.
Ps. They don’t wear gloves while handling food.
Amazing service
Went for the first time for take out. The food was still super hot by the time I got back to work which was another 15 minute drive so thats pretty good. The inside was very clean and stylish and the staff was very kind. The price is a bit high but you do get a good amount of food so it's worth it. The flavors were not exactly my jam. I was looking for a place that served good karaage after finding a great spot in Las Vegas and what I got here just was only vaguely similar. Also the fried rice had a LOT of corn in it, so its not for me but I know a good amount of people will like it.
